My neighbor wants to move to Texas
but worried about them finding out he's gay.
Will Republicans there give him any hassles?

Better not go to Texas, they kill more people and have more on death row then any other state in America. The might decide to put your friend on a rail.

First of all, why are you trying to research this HERE?
Rent a car and a condo for the weekend or weekend, whatever he has time for.
Go check it out. Do you really think all gays come from Mass, Cali and Vermont?
Tell your neighbor to reach out on the internet beforehand and find some like-minded people.
i am positive that there are plenty of very nice people in TX that can help direct your neighbor.

No there are 1000's of republicans that are gay, they love the views on economy and business
Republicans have nothing against gays, they just don't want them to marry Actually it is the democrats that may be more of the issue, after the Foley deal thier real colors showed up, they stated that the Republicans should have been watching him, since he was GAY and he loved children. Heck that is alot of our teachers in schools, I guess the democrats want all of them watched closely

Of course not.
I lived in Oklahoma for a year. In a somewhat small town. True, there were a lot of conservative Republicans, and there were also a few racists. However, one of my managers was gay. He and his boyfriend lived down the street from me.
No one discriminated against them.
I imagine your friend would find the same experience.

Republicans don't care about people being gay, they just don't want the flamer lifestyle paraded in their comunities in front of their kids. Keep it private, no one needs to know your business.

As long as he's willing to support a constitutional ammendment to ban gay marriage and never have children, they're cool with it. Also, it's ok to be gay, but not gay gay! You know what I mean?
