I know we have pedophiliacs and that was one thing but gays too? What's next? How can we successfully fight a winning campaign if we can't exploit the sancity of marriage because most of our staffers are already in committed same-sex relationships?

lol.....the % of homosexuals is said to be 1 in 10... and with 100 senators and over 400 congressman (not to mention all the republicans in each state, town, city, board, etc....) then there are obviously some homosexuals in both parties! there is even some of these homosexuals who are republicans and denouce homosexual activity!!! And there is nothing worse than a pedophile (which is not the same thing as homosexuality even if it is male-male contact)... so if the worse thing you have to worry about is two gay men loving each other, then life isnt so bad for you. to each his own is what i say.

Even if same sex marriages were supported within the party that wouldnt cause the republican party to lose the family values argument. People dont seem to understand, even when they have family members who are gay, that the bible doesnt condemn homosexuals and it doesn't say to reject members of your family or community. Youre allowed to disagree within the church about the bibles stance on homosexuality but youre not allowed to dictate church doctrine. You may hate the behavior but never the person.

I doubt it's brimming with gays, being how the majority of Republicans voted against same sex marriages. And besides, the only gay I know is a dem.

I hate to tell you but the Democrats have pandered to homos for twenty years.
Just check the voter registration for Marin county, California, you will see that gays and Dems go hand in hand.
I think somebody fed you some BS and you went back for seconds.

My guess is that most gays are Dems because of issues such as gay marriage.
