650,000 covered up Iraqi deaths including children. 50,000 wounded with 30,000 amputees, and over 3000 permanently dead Americans not including our allies troop deaths and injuries. Yes being pro war to a Neocon chickenhawk that doesn't participate in the war effort has absolutely no clue what pro life even means.

they're pro AMERICO that's all that matters in the bush regime...the truth is, only rich people are important in the USA...only if you are rich will you lead a comfortable, stable, happy life...in which you do not need to join the military because that's: a) your best option; b) you are blinded by patriotism and foolish pride on behalf of your government (conditioned). America is the greatest Empire the earth has ever seen (military in 220+ countries) 500 billion/year on military - maintaining empire, yet the US can barely take care of its people. The government does just enough so that the status quo can be maintained within...when in actuality the country is not far off from serious civil disobediance/disorder. 45 million without healthcare living on the brink of poverty. that's almost 1/6 americans. disgusting what's important (corporations/military), and what's supposed to be important (the people).
Good luck Americo. (That actually kind of fits considering all of the Mexicans that have slipped into your country undetected during you 'war on/of terror.' nice homeland security. It's all a facade. Many were duped, but I truly believe the masses are starting to wake up and will inflict change in this country, so we can serve as a responsible superpower in this world. Not just a bully.

It has to do with the religious right. They want to stop abortion so we have more unwanted children that they will not help raise. More soldiers for useless wars. There is no logic to religious beliefs. Logic is part of science.
The Bush administration and all the horrible people like Wolfawitz and Karl Rove, Dick Cheney and Rumsfeld are all war criminals. This type of thinking led Nazi Germany to ruin. Fortunately they are not on the same league as the Nazis. They are just very harmful misguided and more interested in making money than they are interested in doing the right thing. These people lost their way a long time ago

Well, you realise, I assume, that for someone to be a war hero, he will have needed to have been in the danger of war. Obviously your premise is that the war in quyestion isn't necessary, which I sympathize with, but the fact remains that your premise is subjective, thus it could be reasoned in hypothetical terms that any status of war hero should not have needed to exist, but that goes into the larger issue of the righteousness, or not, of war.

As for your analogy, I respect that it means to show the hypocrisy of a stated position for the protection of innocent life, whether as a soldier not deserving to "die needlessly," or as a convicted criminal being executed because the benefit of the doubt of uncertainty wasn't given to him. But I think there's a flaw in your comparison, in that a fetus and later viable from the womb child cannot have committed any acts which people may argue warrant severe punishment, retaliation, etc. My point is not to say that this or any other war is correct, but that your comparison is flawed based on the capacity the fetus/child has vs. that of the soldier, even the civilians present in the war zone. It's not for me to say who should die or be prevented from coming into the living world, but it is for me to say that, based on behavior, the fetus/ viable child, is the least deserving of having its life denied. That said, I am pro choice. Hard as that may be to believe.

1) the debate would be a lot more honest if we started calling the 2 sides "pro abortion" & "anti abortion"
2) People die in wars, that's just a fact of life.
3) in case you forgot, WE were attacked many times by Islamofacists, going back to the Iranians taking our embassy & holding our people hostage. It's about time we fought back.

how can they Pro life and be Pro Death Penalty at the same time? Whos to say who dies and who doesnt. At least these fetuses aren't living people yet. Theyre like teeny peanuts. But killing human beings, whatever bad they may have done, shouldn't be something that we decide.

Unfortunately, we have to fight for our country. Why do you think you are free today? Because many men died years ago fighting for our freedom. If we do not fight back, we only become weaker and are more likely to be attacked and other countries become stronger. And where will that lead us??

How can Muslims strap bombs on themselves and go kill themselves and other Muslims who are actually trying to improve their country? Mysteries are fun.
