why is it that the dems are against voter IDs? do they want to commit fraud? they claim its "unconstitutional", but did you notice that most of the time when the left claims that something is "unconstitutional", its really just blowing the issues out of proportion, because even if voter IDs are unconstitutional, does it hurt? does getting searched at the stadium before a football game hurt? no, no one complained about the 4 second searches yet except one guy who cried on CNN. him and the ACLU think it hurts. these are small issues that the left is blowing out of proportion. i think they make such a big deal over voter IDs because they want to get illegals to vote, among other things. frankly, i have nothing to hide, and i dont care about these little things as long as illegals dont get to vote.

I think I was about 20 or so when I first heard the term politically correct. Who are they how is this movement regulated (who decides what and how) .

And if I wanted to kick thier little hinney where would I go to do that ?

Where is this faceless and seemingly leaderless garbage coming from - Can we have the common sense movement back please ?

Most people believe that it is the job of parents to explain to the children about sexual intercourse. Now, my question is, what age would be the socially acceptable age to tell them about it? What impact would it have on them? And what are some disadvantages of it? It seems to me more and more underage children are having sex, some as early as 10.

Why are people so intent on classifying themselves as either Republican or Democrat? What the hell ever happened to individuality and justifying things because of your own personal opinion rather than following the leader??
Surely not every politically aware person believes 100% of what their party leader preaches...or do they?

for welfare programs (which is more then just a monthly check to the poor), they are Christians.
But they can't all be Christians because they don't like helping the poor.
So what describes a conservative.

(apologies to the many, many sincere true American republicans who actually give a crap about the state of the country)

- stop blaming Bill Clinton - EVERYTHING can't be HIS fault can it?
WOW he sure was a powerful influence on you guys, eh?????

- stop blaming priests back in the 1950's, (for Foley)
- stop blaming immigrants who want a better life- and if you do blame others - then why is that meaningful- it's a cop-out -
- blaming your forget memories about who told you important things - thats the job is to take care of the country- NOT "I don't recall ever hearing anything about that"
Condi Rice CIA powerpoint presentation about possible attack by airplanes in early 2001
Dennis Hastert - anything-
Bush- never met Jack Abramoff?

is America just supposed to accept all this deceit?

TAKE SOME FREEKIN RESPONSIBILITY
just blame, blame, blame, on everyone else for all the trouble caused, well,
America is sick of it

Clinton got impeached for sexual impropriety which seems to pale in comparison to the blatant law-breaking and Constitution-violating actions that Bush has taken.

And before you call me a stupid liberal, please notice my other questions, some of which are liberal, some of which are conservative.

when he was fed a dumb line and swept the room with his arm...so it happened to land near her empty chair - Given the history the two of them have I think it is hilarious and she ought to get over it. By the way if she wasn't in her seat when Parliament was sitting what right does she have to comment on anything said there if she was clearly playing hooky. I dunno - (i say jokingly) she's being pretty presumptuous to think he was speaking of her...tee hee

Oil prices, from which gas prices are derived, are driven by the laws of supply and demand. The summer was driving season and is peak time for fuel consumption. In the fall, demand tapers off, before it regains steam for heating in the winter. As such, oil prices are a function of supply and demand.

Theoretically, all the oil companies could band together to push prices down, but that would be extraordinarily difficult.

Bush cannot control the price of gas.

Also consider all of the financial institutions that trade oil futures. They would not gain from depreciation (except from shorting) so they wouldn't manipulate it either.

Oil prices have dropped roughly 29% over the past 2 months and gas prices have subsequently dropped by 28-30%.
