Clinton got impeached for sexual impropriety which seems to pale in comparison to the blatant law-breaking and Constitution-violating actions that Bush has taken.

And before you call me a stupid liberal, please notice my other questions, some of which are liberal, some of which are conservative.

Would you like for me to enumerate a few violations of the law-

Suspension of Habeas Corpus (yes Abe did it once, but that wasn't legal either as ruled by the Supreme Court)
Torture camps that violate treaties and the Geneva Convention
Wiretapping
Awarding contracts without engaging in the proper bidding process (perhaps not illegal, but undoubtedly unethical; as was Clinton's move)
Engaging in war under false pretenses

Bush hasn't violated any constitutional law as far as the judiciary or congress is concerned. Clinton wasn't impeached for having an affair, as most people think, but for lying to a grand jury. This question is common and meaningless. You can't even support your own argument with examples. I may be a democrat, but I'm not proud of many of the people in my party. It is unfortunate that most of my party members are rather uneducated as to how to bring up a point, as well as English grammar, what racism is, and originality.

Oh God! wow, well first off clinton lied under oath and committed perjury, Bush has broken no laws, you know its so funny that all these people complain about Bush, hello you morons the guy is trying to protect our country, and if youre not happy with it go live in some 3rd world country then see how u like it there, people like you annoy the crap out of me, be thankful for all you have, instead of bi**ing!

Why is it that questions like these don't say what laws he broke? Or how he has violated the Constitution? I remember Clinton broke the law and that's why he got impeached. Bush hasn't yet and probably won't.

Clinton was impeached for perjury to a grand jury, not for sexual anything. Bush has not committed an impeachable crime like that.

I agree with u totally. It's not even a democrat/republican issue anymore, it's just that Bush is a crappy president! It's because the senate and congress, and all the other political offices are held by the republican party; and they don't want to impeach their leader. Clinton was not in their party, so they had no problem kicking him out of office for moral indecency since he wasn't part of their family. Bush is a part of their family...he's like the loser younger brother. You reprimand him...but u do forgive all indiscretions and never disown him or take his prvilleges away...therefore rewarding bad behavior, and therefore, they're ok with his behavior by their actions since he is a part of their party...so he'll never be held accountable. That's why he hasn't been impeached for all the autrocities he's committed.

Clinton was impeached for perjury, dear, not sexual impropriety.
President Bush has not broken any laws, and he has done nothing that is not unprecedented. Name five things that he's done that have NEVER been attempted before, that are illegal.
Keep in mind, we are at war. Can you remember specific orders that OTHER presidents have made during wartime?

because he has not committed any crime worthy of impeachment, Clinton was impeached on lying under oath

wiretapping is allowed Clinton and FDR did the exact same thing

Geneva convention only applies to those who are in uniform

Congress, for now anyway, is mostly Republican. They are more about their power than about what s right for this country. I would compare Bush to Nixon before Clinton. the Clinton impeachment was a joke- an attempt to reverse the prevous presidential election that began with Whitewater and turned up exactly one spotted dress. Nixon is a more accurate comparison because he also believed that he could do whatever he wanted because he was president. Not so many were willing to let him back then. Where has our country's spine gone?

Clinton was impeached for lying under oath, not sexual impropriety, as you stated.

Yes clinton DID get impeached, but if we were to follow the standard of law you seem to like, hed have also been tried, convicted and executed as a traitor.
