Holly: try John S. (when he doesn't get the question removed)
I think you are really turning a blind eye to people who really DO seem to be supporting the Radical Jihadi Muslims who advocate terrorism.

Holly: Read anthony's answer.

2006-10-20 12:05:22 · update #2

John S: I don't think they should be hanged. But Treason is an offense in America which is still on the books that you can be executed for.

2006-10-20 12:07:00 · update #3

John S: I might add the reason I am not for that is because I love freedom of speech, unlike the enemy: The radical Jihadi Muslims that would have the West destroyed and their supporters.

Well traveled, I'm well aware of what you speak but what does that have to do with the problem we have in the middle east with hundreds of thousands of muslims calling for western civilian's blood? Don't you remember only a few years ago religious fundamentalist Muslims committed mass murder against innocent civilians unwarned?
Or is that USA's fault too?
Perhaps you should put down the history for a sec and find out what's going on now.

2006-10-20 12:12:46 · update #5

Holly: Ben R, "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter".
Don't you hate liberal's moral relativism?

They obviously don't see a difference between American's making a man sandwich with Iraqis and Jihadi murderers who hold innocent hostages down while they saw their heads off by hand with a knife.

2006-10-20 12:15:32 · update #6

Holly: If anyone thinks that Muslim Terrorists are actually freedom fighters, that is an act of treason.

We live in a good country. They are the product of their fundamentalist relgion, that says it all. Look at the crap governments over there with Islam written as law. The fruits they bear are ROTTEN.

Katie: LOL, I can't think of a more appropriate term for that form of "torture".

A terrorist to one, is a patriot to another. Many Brits in the 1700's, thought Americans were terrorists.

No patriotic American would support Jihad.

I'm afraid it is the neo-conservatives who support the jihadists. After all, It is the Bush family friends ,the Bin Ladens who attacked this country. And it was the same people that we're escorted out without questioning. It is this administration that choose a half hearted attempt in Afghanistan. And it is this administrations wars that are fueling ever greater recruitment for the jihad movement according to it's own intelligence estimate. I wonder why they are so anxious to support and encourage terrorism? Oh yeah, that's right. The neocons are of the mind that as long as we, the American people, feel we are under attack, we will keep them in power. Guess what. We can't be fooled forever. The American people are finally waking up to the reality that the greatest threat to this and all freedom loving nations on earth is the ideology and demagoguery of the neoconservative revolution and they're, ie. your, days are numbered. Find your Tora Bora, because unlike the lackadaisical response of the neocon's, we won't stop till your special brand of anti-American terrorism is destroyed for good.

What Liberal is supporting terrorists and calling them "freedom fighters"? I want a source, preferably more than one.

Edit: I went to John's profile and found mostly questions under religion and spirituality, only two from politics -and they were asked two weeks ago. They also said nothing on this topic.

Anthony's answer I don't even understand because it's not clear who he is referring to.

I'm not turning a blind eye to anything, and if you'd shown me something definite along the lines of proof -like someone actually making that statement- I would not try to deny it. I just think it's logical (and necessary) when making an accusation such as this that you back it up with facts.

-What Ben R. said is actually true. Determining who your real threat is depends largely on your ideals and where you live.

-NO ONE here has said that Muslim terrorists are freedom fighters. Why would they?

I had lunch with a liberal today. We talked about selling antiques. And the best places for a winter vacation in Baja.

There was no mention of supporting terrorist But she did mention that she hates what abortion has done to women.

Go big Red Go

ANYONE, regardless of ideology, who calls themselves an American, should be hanged for treason if they call the terrorists freedom fighters.

Let's see, wouldn't that be considered "adhering" to one's enemies, and/or giving aid and comfort? That is the Constitution's definition of treason:

Section 3. Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.

Guess you'll have to hang Reagan, Bush Sr., and a bunch of other republican-conservatives too, then. Don't forget, it was this bunch that supplied weapons and support to the Taliban in their "jihad" against the Soviet invaders in Afghanistan. Both Reagan and Bush Sr. called them "valiant, courageous freedom fighters, fighting a religious war against the godless communists." They put the Taliban in power, then 25 years later -- after they supported and trained terrorists with the weapons Reagan and Bush gave them -- we had to go back and fight them...but still couldn't find Bin Laden.

Perhaps you should read a little history before spouting off on things that you know nothing about...?

One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist! Everyone has the right to free speech and their own opinion in this country. It's protected under the Constitution! Unfortunately idiot conservatives only pay lip service to the constitution!

Is this some sort of conservative propaganda passed around? Liberals as a whole, do not, in any way, shape, or form endorse terrorism...This "Freedom Fighter" term you describe is foreign to me. Your word vomit spewed your obvious partisanship, which in referring to the death of liberals for treason, shows just how "American" you really are.
* edit
I saw your edit and I apologise for using the term "word vomit"...without being able to convey any emotion during typing it is hard to understand whether a question is a valid one or an attack. I read "kill liberals" in your question and it incensed me, and again I apologise for the counter attack.
* did you just type "man-sandwich"...LMAO

And who are you or any one else to decide who is a terrorist and who is a freedom fighter? I'm sure that French resistors were considered terrorists by the Nazis.

I find this especially ironic, because you said I was anti-free speech. What's more anti-free speech than "You Should be hanged for what you are saying!!!"

No but maybe we should take a hard look at the ones who think liberals support "jihadi terrorists".
