When you were still in school DOES NOT count. Do you have a bible? The bible is to the church as the constitution is supposed to be to the govornment. The lies that spew from this addministration are toxic. If you believe one word that comes from this machine than you are indeed Americanized. America was founded on the people that fought so hard for it. "WE THE PEOPLE" Is not a clever way to begin a story it is the first law of the United States of America. Nothing in this country is supposed to happen without the peoples say so. That includes WAR and passing new laws. If you think for one second that you voted anyone into anything than you love to be lied to.
Don't you pass your judgement on me until you've read your own personal copy of the constitution and the bill of rights. If, after you have read them and you still feel as though I'm a "radical" or an alarmist then you need to go back and READ them again. The time to reform this govornment is long over due!!!

I WISH THIS WERE NOT TRUE, BUT THIS IS FACT

Made public on November 18, 1997 by the Assassination Records Review Board.

Actual Operation Northwoods de-classified document from the National Security Archive housed at George Wahington University.
http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/news/20010430/doc1.pdf
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northwoods

Signed into order by the CHAIRMAN and EVERY MEMBER of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the plan (read it yourself) calls for innocent Citizens to be shot on American streets; American ships to be sunk; for a wave of violent "terrorism" to be launched in major East coast cities.

Operation Northwoods calls for Foreign Nationals to be framed for bombings they did not commit; and for planes to be hijacked and crashed into landmarks. Using the phony evidence, all of it would be blamed on a foreign country, giving Political and Military leadership the excuse, as well as the public and international backing, they need to launch a war

I am a Republican, and I really believe in helping the needy but through private organizations. The government has already proven that they can't mange money. The problem that I have with a lot of poor people is that most are in their predicament because of the choices they made in life. What is even more sad is that they continue to make these bad choices time and time again. I am a part owner of a restaurant and I have seen this time and time again. Their attitude is that the government will take care of them. Sad. What gets me the most is when people continue to have more kids when they can't even support the ones that they have. The cycle will never end. What has happened to self responsibility in this society?

It seems to work like this. In April, some prognosticator issues a report that there will be lots of hurricanes this year. So the oil producers raise the price of oil for delivery in November (the future). The gas companies then raise the prices at the pump IMMEDIATELY, even though the gas they're selling today only cost them half that to produce. Both the gas and the oil company reap huge profits. Then the prediction of the hurricanes does not happen, so in retrospect we all paid excessive prices for gas in order to offset the impact of a shortage that never occurred.

That pretty much cover it?

Would you borrow $200,000 in order to pay your bills, with the expectation that your children would pay it off for you? I don't know any parent who wouldn't want to pay their own debts so that their children can start life free and clear. So why do we keep electing people who have a track record of spending extravagantly today and putting the debt off until it's our childrens' problem?

Should anyone who voted to raise the debt ceiling be booted out of office?

I would imagine that this is going to be big news, even though British PM Tony Blair doesn't like what this military chief is saying. After all, Blair is a lame duck, and Bush will be one too after the midterm elections.

The following is a web link to the story from CBS News.

If you are lower class, you don't really pay that much in taxes anyway compared to the rest of society. I laugh when I see kids and students rant and rave about taxes when they don't even pay that much. Wait and see when you have a decent paying job. I bet you will think differently about taxes.

Someone who really made you proud and helped to regain some of your faith in the political process?

I think religion is a farce but I will not try to stop you from being religious. I am pro life to the heart, and it has nothing to do with any religion. We are out here, us non religious pro lifers, and it is us you need to be aware of. We are not religious fanatics, we are clear headed, we think things through, and we will end abortion in time. We are atheists and agnostics like you, so you will trust us, and then we will destroy your insidious death worshiping institutions. I don’t believe in heaven that is why getting your chance to live now is so important, stop taking that from these children, stop robbing them of their only chance to live.

Judging from many of the questions asked, most seem to be consulting sources that are clearly biased on one side or the other. Wouldn't it be wiser to look at the evidence, pro and con, before deciding your positions?
Can reasonable people then disagree without trying to portray the other side as the devil???

Many people would agree that conservative Republicans have been scapegoating gay people to win recent elections. It's unfair, it's demeaning, and it stoops to a new low when you target and blame a marginalized group of people who don't aren't even allowed to enjoy full rights like everyone else (yet). Would you call this "attacking"?
