Would you borrow $200,000 in order to pay your bills, with the expectation that your children would pay it off for you? I don't know any parent who wouldn't want to pay their own debts so that their children can start life free and clear. So why do we keep electing people who have a track record of spending extravagantly today and putting the debt off until it's our childrens' problem?

Should anyone who voted to raise the debt ceiling be booted out of office?
