Already the estimated damage being done to Lebanon by Israeli bombardments is $2 billion dollars, with over half a million people internally displaced.

All these havoc and carnage was because of two Israeli soldiers in Hezbollah's captivity, so the Israelis say. Unless puppet Israel and master puppet America had a hidden agenda, and was just waiting for an excuse to attack Lebanon even before the capture of the soldiers, the extent of Israel's merciless brutality has shown the world what their true color is. This is not an eye for an eye.

The fact that Iran and Syria are incriminated in this conflict shows that the US is trying to build a case against Iran. I hope it doesn't backfire just as is the case in Iraq now.

This war is not only about 2 soldiers. Even Mel Gibson said it-and I agree with him...Opinions expressed under influence of alcohol are always one's deep-rooted, subconcious beliefs, surfacing.

So, my question:
Who is going to pay for this barbarity in Lebanon?

on an earlier question i had most of the responses where to the extent of these people support islam these people are muslims as if americans are the only race that got it right.its because of that attitude this world is such a hateful place to live in. ever thought to yourselves that many nations dont want america interfering in their business? ever thought that maybe they dont want to adopt to some of our more controversial american lifestyle? leave them the hell alone & let them live the way they want.our constitution says all men are created equal. americans surely dont go by that statement.

lebanon or Iraq don't even have an airforce, navy or an organized army. it's not equal side at all. this is not a war. Israel for example own the sky of lebanon, they can just shoot any living thing down there just like a vedio game.

i would love to see a war against China or Russia, now that's a war for you. but NO! let's show our power against the weakness countries in the world. and then call it war.

what war r u talking about?

That history makes clear that left unchecked, it is the nature of government to usurp the liberty of its citizens and eventually become a major violator of the people's rights; and
That, therefore, it is essential to bind government with the chains of the Constitution and carefully divide and jealously limit government powers to those assigned by the consent of the governed.

iraq afghanistan haiti somalia. what do these nations have in common? they all had supposed american help & the end result is that all these nations arent any better since american interference. seems as if they are more violent then before american involvement.this is a perfect example that america needs to stop interfering in the business of other nations. they seem to make it worse instead of making it better. iraq is the most perfect example. at least under hussein they werent bombings & killings on an everyday basis.

America is one of the worst of in the industrialised world for providing foreign aid RELATIVE TO WEALTH.

The link below gives the figures for aid as a PERCENTAGE OF GNP:
http://www.godweb.org/stingy2.htm
(OECD figures)

If you include PRIVATE CONTRIBUTIONS the US only moves up to 15th in the ranking.

Although in purely numerical terms the total given by America may be high, should a millionaire give the same amount to charity as someone living under a bridge
