Already the estimated damage being done to Lebanon by Israeli bombardments is $2 billion dollars, with over half a million people internally displaced.

All these havoc and carnage was because of two Israeli soldiers in Hezbollah's captivity, so the Israelis say. Unless puppet Israel and master puppet America had a hidden agenda, and was just waiting for an excuse to attack Lebanon even before the capture of the soldiers, the extent of Israel's merciless brutality has shown the world what their true color is. This is not an eye for an eye.

The fact that Iran and Syria are incriminated in this conflict shows that the US is trying to build a case against Iran. I hope it doesn't backfire just as is the case in Iraq now.

This war is not only about 2 soldiers. Even Mel Gibson said it-and I agree with him...Opinions expressed under influence of alcohol are always one's deep-rooted, subconcious beliefs, surfacing.

So, my question:
Who is going to pay for this barbarity in Lebanon?

I haven't even mentioned the economic damage, because Lebanon has been bombed 20-30 years back in its economic progress.

As they did in Iraq, I´m pretty sure the US (not "America".When are you going to learnt ha The states is not "America"??) is gonna come up with a "solution" like they have always done.
Israel itself is pretty interested in having not a piece of the cake but most of the cake , they will have to share it with the States, though. Cheney, bush and Co ´s enterprises won´t miss a chance of "rebuild" Lebanon as they are doing with Iraq.,.
always in good will and understanding , not trying to make a profit of this, God Forbid! (Sarcasm here!!!!)

I'll give you a hint, not Israel or the US.

I'm not supporting either side, but all this would be over if Hezbollah handed over the soldiers they nabbed. While the response was absurdly unjustified, it would not have occurred had they not kidnapped those soldiers.

Dare I say that Hezbollah wanted this? I think so. This draws international sympathy to their cause, and as long as Israel doesn't wipe them off the face of the planet, they will have won. This doesn't justify any of the violence, but I think they had an idea of what they were doing, and are counting their lucky stars that Israel overreacted.

Who is going to pay for the many lost Israeli lives caused by suicide bombers and missiles since Hezbollah started to attack the country as soon as it was formed? These are the same terrorists that attacked us on 9-11. Why would you support them? Lebanon permitted the terrorists to use their country as a base of operations so this is what they get. Israel is doing what the US should be doing: destroying terrorist headquarters and training grounds. They are doing our work for us. Israel is our only ally in the Middle East.

Do you honestly think that America sits around looking for excuses to bomb crap hole little countries like Lebanon? DO you think we care? We don't. That's why we don't mind that Israel is pummeling it right now. IT DOESN'T MATTER TO US. And not admitting that Iran and Syria back Hezbollah is ridiculous... especially when the leaders of Hezbollah publicly thank Syria and Iran for their support. As far as who is gonna pay for all the damage.....why not send the bill to the leaders of Hezbollah.

Iran and Syria love Lebanon so much that they sent the HezBULLies weapons to attack Israel. So they can pay of the damage that they helped cause.

Israel should pay. It had no right in bombing the airport, bridges, schools and hospitals. They just use Hezbollah as an excuse to cause as much damage as possible and that's just not right!

Mel Gibson got it right

You communicate as if Israel changed into no longer provoked, changed into no longer attacked without provocation, changed into no longer suffering civilian and economic loss daily from attacks by ability of terrorists attempting to inflict harm on Israel now that Israel did not occupy Gaza, West economic employer or Southern Lebanon. see you later as Palestinians and Lebanese help terrorism and the elimination of the Israeli state, it truly is the reaction they could anticipate. Will the Palestinian and Lebanese in no way study that allying with or appeasing terrorists is a particular thanks to destruction?

No body but poor Lebanese. Just maybe some Islamic countries help them.

Who cared for Afghanistan or Iraq's reconstruction?? It'll be the same.

And how did you find the figure? I've heard that is much more than this.

Since this was started by Hezbollah, I think Hezbollah should have to pay and since Iran supports Hezbollah, Iran should hellp Hezbollah to pay.

BLAME AMERICA FIRST! Its always the US of A's fault. Always! No matter what circumstances, its always our fault and no one else -- EVER. Sorry but those murderers had it coming in spades. Israel has every right to protect herself and her citizens. Leave Israel alone they Israel will leave them alone. Just like with bees. Simple. But what you forget is that these murderous crazies want all Jews dead. They don't recognize Israel's right to exist. -- And that wall they are building, best idea anyone has ever had to keep the peace.
