It's not that they deny the conservatives right to say what they think, it's just that they disagree & exercise their right to express that.
The hypocrisy is when they claim the conservatives are denying a liberal's freedom of speech just because the conservative wants to express his disaproval of something a liberal said.
The best example of this was the hoopla over the Dixie Chicks.
They were not sent to jail. The government did not ban their music. People who were offended by their statements simply choose to express their opinions by not buying Dixie Chick music & telling radio stations they would change the channel if a Dixie Chick song came on. Many people who loved the Dixie Chicks rants against Bush complained that this reaction was a violation of freedom of speech. But in truth, both were exercising their freedom of speech.

We liberals do not censor conservative speech, we comment on and correct it.
You can feel free to say any narrow-minded, knee-jerk, reactionary little thing that comes into your head. Go ahead!
But don't whine "censorship" when we bring up the facts, expose the convoluted logic behind your assumptions and express opinions which actually hold water while disagreeing with you.
Censorship would be preventing you from saying such things in the beginning, which we couldn't do if we wanted to because conservatives own and control the media. That's why Fox News and talk radio can spew all the hatred and bigotry they want.
We must dissent.

Seems to me there are a lot of conservatives exercising their freedom of speech every hour of every day, and nobody's stopping them. Which is fine. When liberals say anything there is plenty of whining from conservatives, which is their right, but it would be nice if conservatives checked their facts a little more often instead of just complaining about the nasty old liberals.

Don't forget they are also tolerant of all views and people to.....strange how that works, that it is all so true, if you agree with them....and they do seem to whine alot when people think they are idiots....Hell, even Bush has allowed many protesters to ahve there moment in the sun, when he gives speeches.....he has on many cases told the security to let them speak.....when was the last time a Liberal said that?

Is this a joke question? Double check who is attempting to ban free speech by outlawing flag-burning, reading your email, listening to your phone calls, and viewing your bank transactions.
Media personalities such as O'Reilly, Coulter, Savage, and Limbaugh seemed to have no restrictions on their speech regardless of the fact that much of what they say is highly questionable, inflammatory, and hateful.
I wouldn't consider any of these 'patriots' liberal.

Great question you beat me to it. It does not stop with freedom of speech but all rights. The damnocrats scream and hollar anytime--- make that all the time about our Great President but I am not allowed to answer their lies with proven truths. Their freedom of speech does not allow me to speak my mind unless it is politically correct and and I don't hurt the feelings of their beloved terrorist. As long as liberals exist the US will be slaves to terrorist and muslim pigs.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH is for everyone: liberal, labour, conservative, democrat, republican, young, old, rich, poor, black, white, educated, un-educated, literate, or illiterate, Christian, Muslim, atheist, agnostic, Uncle Tom Cobly and All!!
But lets get realistic here!!
Wherever & whenever you have freedom of speech to say what you want or will: you will always have someone, somewhere: wanting to shut you down/gag you/sew you/shoot you, or blow the **** out of you: for what you have to say, think, or believe… just because they don’t like or agree with, what you have to say, think, or believe!!

That's not true at all. We believe in freedom of speech so much that we let the "God Hates Fags" people and the KKK, and the Nazis protest/rally.
