The people in Gitmo are in legal limbo. They have no legal status. They are not POWs. They are as guilty and as innocent as Bush says they are.

Human life has value, regardless of skin colour. If Timothy McVeigh's mom and dad and brother and cousin had been interred without trial in Gitmo, that might have been a bad thing.

Cuba is a wonderful country with happy people. Poverty is great, but healthcare and education beat the US.
Castro is a dictator who has done many evil things. But the number of evil things Bush has done is becomming a significant fraction of Castro's legacy.

Since the people in Club Gitmo are there because they are terrorists and not members of any country's army they belong there until the war on terrorism is won.

Since 1962 when Castro came to power in Cuba many people have just disappeared, been killed, been imprisoned on the word of this dictator. If the number was only one, it would be more than Mr Bush.

Lets see. There are more than 11 million people in Cuba. That would make 11 million prisoners for Fidel and a few hundred thousand guards.

How many has GWB imprisoned without trial? When you give that number we'll talk.
