I propose it's another example of a lazy media. They kept stating he was hot headed as if it was a fact, yet there were no examples cited. So when he gave that silly scream, as a rallying cry, not of anger, the media basically said, "See we told you so."
It's not unlike the perception that W is dumb. The media created this and now if he ever makes a speaking error, they say "See, we told you so."
Why don't we demand a press that reports facts and does not speculate. There is a place for speculation in the media, it's called the editorial page. It does not belong on the front page.
And if you choose to answer, please be polite, don't resort to name calling and check your work before turning it in.

There is a lot to be said for growing up in a small town in Texas. The service itself was impressive with wonderful flowers and sprays, a portrait of James, his uniform and boots, his awards and ribbons. There was lots of military brass and an eloquent (though inappropriately longwinded) Baptist preacher. There were easily 1000 people at the service, filling the church sanctuary as well as the fellowship hall and spilling out into the parking lot.

However, the most incredible thing was what happened following the service on the way to the cemetery. We went to our cars and drove to the cemetery escorted by at least 10 police cars with lights flashing and some other emergency vehicles, with Texas Rangers handling traffic. Everyone on the road who was not in the procession, pulled over, got out of their cars, and stood silently and respectfully, some put their hands over their hearts.
When we turned off the highway suddenly there were teenage boys along both sides of the street about every 20 feet or so, all holding large American flags on long flag poles, and again with their hands on their hearts. We thought at first it was the Boy Scouts or 4H club or something, but it continued .... for two and a half miles. Hundreds of young people, standing silently on the side of the road with flags. At one point we passed an elementary school, and all the children were outside, shoulder to shoulder holding flags . kindergartners, handicapped, teachers, staff, everyone. Some held signs of love and support. Then came teenage girls and younger boys, all holding flags. Then adults. Then families. All standing silently on the side of the road. No one spoke, not even the very young children.
The military presence..at least two generals, a fist full of colonels, and representatives from every branch of the service, plus the color guard which attended James, and some who served with him ... was very impressive and respectful, but the love and pride from this community who had lost one of their own was the most amazing thing I've ever been privileged to witness

I heard him say that it isn't a coincidence that with the presence of democracy, that Hamas is fighting back, as well as AL Qaeda. But the majority of the troops are Iraqis, and Hamas was democratically elected. If our point was to bring democracy to a country, shouldn't we accept who THEY elect, and stay out of it?

its ok to pick up cans but i see them carring stuff like weed wackers and lawn mowers and tools to pawn shops all the time.they seem to be picking up what ever is not locked away when they walk by.
AMERICA must do something about this . YOU can not leave your car for a minute without locking it and return without something missing .SPARE change cd's lap tops you leave your garage open and bikes and tools go missing .
these people take temporary work and come to your house to do yard work clean up construction debris and are everywhere picking up stuff.
DO we need stronger sentences for petty crimes which cost america billions when totaled up every year .
The same people are always responcible , homeless alcoholics and drug addicts . With no morals or steady work .

I live in the south and it seems to me that all the(self proclaimed) conservatives down here are ignorant, the few intellectuals that I find are usually liberals, is it vice versa up north?
PS I am not a liberal, I'm just wondering why so many conservatives down here are so dumb, and if it is the same up north with liberals being the idiots and the conservatives being the intellectuals?

Is it because top rank army are from upper class and are appointed just to order? Or soldiers don’t know how to avoid staying in a front line?
The same is true with the religion terrorist groups , their leaders are just hiding somewhere and send the simple ignorant follower to fight or commit suicide, non of the religion terrorist leaders go to the front line to fight. Unfortunately just innocent and poor people are the main victim of the war, because even the rich people have a more money and power to move and find a save place quickly.

i think as more time goes on and in the next few years ,arabs will unite to end the oppresion america forces on the region .we pit sunni against shia jew against islam and nation against nation supporting which ever group of radicals is in charge at the time or placing our own in power by supporting him like we did with saddam and a dozen others .
WE created ISRAEL 58 years ago and have dumped over a trillion dollars of money into its support.

I know we are debating the current form of the bill that increases the amount one can pass on tax free from 2 million (for couples) to 10 million. and decreases the rate at which the rest gets taxed.

So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winning and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone lest they be guilty of profiling.

seems that we really only have one party with two seperate issues morality and who pays for what . EACH group played against each other with one winner .huge multinational corporations bent on providing the lowest cost of production and the maximizing of profits to the exclusion of the workers needs and desires.
most of us do not get our pay check from uncle sam yet so why can we never get a responsive government .AND for the republicans why do they never get abortion and porno and drug policies delt with .
I suspect it is the one party system created by special intrests that are after all multi-national companies with there own agenda .
