I propose it's another example of a lazy media. They kept stating he was hot headed as if it was a fact, yet there were no examples cited. So when he gave that silly scream, as a rallying cry, not of anger, the media basically said, "See we told you so."
It's not unlike the perception that W is dumb. The media created this and now if he ever makes a speaking error, they say "See, we told you so."
Why don't we demand a press that reports facts and does not speculate. There is a place for speculation in the media, it's called the editorial page. It does not belong on the front page.
And if you choose to answer, please be polite, don't resort to name calling and check your work before turning it in.
Thanks.

I agree with you completely. I don't prefer Howard Dean but to call him hot-headed is absurd! I have mixed feelings about W but one thing he is not is dumb.
The media does what it does to sell papers and they get away with it because most Americans keep buying into the sensationalism hook-line-and-sinker!!
David C is part of the problem. He takes a simple non-partisan question, completely misunderstands it, and uses it to attack Bush for being "dumb" which he clarly is not.

I think what he did in Iowa was well over played for what ever reason, mostly to sell news. It is a sad day in America when a person cannot proclaim excitement without being ostracized. I think Dean is a good man and has not gone wrong in life as so many believe, it is part of the repuglican rhetoric machine to take the least little thing and make an issue of it, and over look things that could have made a difference like the fact that George Bush is a coke snorting, alcoholic and highly immoral.

In real life, not ultra-conservative truth-twisting life, Howard Dean is a medical doctor, a surgeon. I don't know if he still maintains a practice now or not.

But the point is it's highly unlikely that anyone who was a real 'hothead' could ever become a doctor and a surgeon, much less a successful one. That is one profession where keeping your cool at all times is a must.

Another non-question... Howard Dean shows that he is not of leadership caliber every time he opens his mouth...

All the media ever does is speculate - but do they ever come around and tell the truth when their speculation has been showed to be wrong?

I don't recall any more screams. I do however believe he is very irresponsible. The spoke woman for the DNC is an idiot too. Kind of made me feel like I was listening to a high school debating class. No I am not a republican.

It's a little thing called "Freedom of the press." You don't have to believe it though, that's your prerogative.
