I ask, you decide. Is a hat more important than human life? According to Bono it is. Look at my 360 blog about this, and then answer this:

Do you think Bono is an extreme hypocrite? Why/Why-Not?

Should the system be revamped so that canidates start delivering messages to the whole of America and not just the states that have 20 or more electorates? If so, what would you do to change it? If you think the current system is still the most effective, why? (Please be objective and keep political bias to a minimum, thanks)

It seems only 8 years ago, as a country, the US was making tremendous leaps in the areas of Civil Rights and liberties, the minorities were being heard more than ever, and we saw some of the biggest advancements in foriegn policy in decades.

Now, we've got a party in power that is being fueled by the Religious Right and attempting for the first time in the history of this country, to LIMIT the rights of a group of people in the Constitution.

Doesn't it seem like we're going the wrong direction? What do you think started this sudden change from a progressive country in terms of human rights, civil liberties, and foriegn policy to a country of unilateral foreign policy, goverment spying, attempting to remove the rights of a minority and complete disregard for Constitutional Separation of Church and State? (Aren't we supposed to be the 'Melting Pot'?)

It seems to me these have become just labels to attack those who don't agree with us. Neither group sticks with the classic liberal/conservative ideology, so why bother calling ourselves that?

Lou Dobbs critizices Mr. Bush and his administration on almost every issue i.e. the economy, education, immigration, the war in Iraq etc. He has at times called our president a liar and accused him of being allied with "corporate supremacists". Do republicans like or agree with him on these issues, even thou he critizices President Bush and his administration?

Every time I hear a statement made about Christians, it's about the Christian Right. I even created a post to try and stir up some thinking calling the Christian Right the Christian Rote.

However, all joking aside. Whatever happened to the Christian Middle and the Christian Left? Do they exist?

To me, it seems an embarassment to all of the Christians who *aren't* conservative and who tread the middle, and especially an embarassment to the Christians who are on the left. It almost seems like for someone to accept Christ and become a Christian, they have to become a right-wing, pro-gun, anti-education, anti-choice, xenophobic, homophobic Republican. (Pat Robertson says God is a Republican - who apparently calls for assasinations)

Even if I wanted to become a Christian (I don't, thanks in advance for the offers), I would think twice because of the general image they have given themselves as anti-thought, robotic, rotely repeating conservatives. I'd really like serious responses!

In fact, nobody I know has ever been officially polled on whether or not they approve of Bush. Why should I give any creedence to these numbers?

Note: Only objective answers will be considered for the 10 points.

Serious answers only please.

Do you think the dramatic difference of opinion between conservatives/freligious fundamentalists and liberals/secularists can be reconciled?

People seem more polarized than ever and it seems it would be difficult, if not impossible, to get them to unilaterally support any ideal or political principle.

Moreover, is it necessary to reconcile the opinions of the two groups in order to have a functioning society, or is such conflict a necessary and unavoidable part of any society?

This is not an attack on all cons, just the ones that continue to support the Dictator known a G.W. Bush. We used to have privacy, now phones are tapped, bank records monitored and counter-terrorism spys outed for political revenge. The 2000 election was removed from the hands of the people, and the 2004 election was the most corrupt in our history.(See "Everything You Know is Wrong" for 2000 election actual Florida vote tallies, and several books notated into an artical in last months Rolling Stone for some notes on the 7 state voter fraud in 2004, highlighting Ohio specificaly)This dictator has even come under fire recently by members of his own political party for circumventing laws.(Senator A. Spector-R, PA.) As well as the many other lies he has been caught in over the last 6 years.(Katrina, WMD's, trying to link the war in Iraq to 9/11 and other Saudi funded terror plots)Since free elections and protection under the rule of law constitutes freedom, why do they hate freedom?
