I've noticed today that people on both sides of the political spectrum are starting to get annoyed with all of the bashing. Conservatives are telling each other to shut-up and ask a real question, liberals are voting best answers for conservatives who give the best answer, and irisharpist and therandman both gave non-insulting answers to my question about Ann Coulter. Can we finally work together to answer some of these questions respectfully?

I don't mean to be rude or upset anyone with this question. I am not American and it seems that the world sees Bush as a complete joke. How do Americans feel about him being the leader of your country? Are you mad? Embarrassed? Are you scratching your heads wondering how the heck he became president? or are we too hard on him?

It seems to me these have become just labels to attack those who don't agree with us. Neither group sticks with the classic liberal/conservative ideology, so why bother calling ourselves that?

Don't say Al-Quaeda because they have denied it but accept every other attrocity they have perpetrated. Can someone please explain to me how two 110 floor buildings collapsed under 10 secs? How come no other building was destroyed apart from those owned by the Property magnate Silverstein? Where is the plane that went into the Pentagon? Why people who worked in the towers were told not to go to work on that day? Why the 911 Commission couldn't come to a credible resolution? Why? Why? Why? Please I need some answers.

I am working on a debate and I have to take the side that it can be justified some if not all of the time. I need if possible resources or references to sites. And if you are going to answer that it is never justified or something like that please don't bother unless you can really defend your opinion with facts and references.

Not finding any statistics that provide me with this kind of information (where our tax dollars are being spent), I want to know if its time for the American people to force our elected leaders to spend OUR tax dollars on problems within America. Personally as a tax payer I want to know that the entire amount of money I am paying for taxes is spent on American issues such as our infrastructure (transportation) education, retooling the US job market so we don't depend on China, India or other countries for goods. I am tired of watching my dollars go out to save other countries. How do you feel about this?

Can't they see bipartisanship is destroying our country?

I always was under the impression that the best candidate should win, and in 2004 i did my part by voting for the best candidate - Bush...

Kerry seemed to unsure of what he wanted to do in office, and to me, at least, seemed like he was just saying what the people wanted to hear...

So where is it written that if you're a "Democrat" you HAVE to hate WHOEVER isn't and vice versa?

How come Kerry was deemed the "better" candidate for the sole reason that he "isn't Bush."

Do these people even FOLLOW politics? or is it just a popularity contest to them?

I remember leading up to the election in '04, Kerry street teams would say, "Help us get Bush out of office!" as their tag line...

Wait...shouldn't i be helping Kerry get INTO office?

The fact that his best asset was that he "WASN'T Bush" was scary to me...and i don't consider myself a con or lib...just American.

And to me, Bush was the better choice.

I am tired of just two major candidates. I would like to see a party that actually listens to the voice of the majority of people, not just their sect. I have heard talk of a new "Patriot Party." Does anyone want to see another party? If so, why?

the bush administration had to release the records of four visits that jack abramoff made to the white house. abramoff is a convicted gop lobbyist. this contradicts bushs earlier claim of no connection to abramoff. another example of corruption and flip flopping by bush.

will make America safer. I think it is funny that so many people just agree with this theory that has never been proven to work. Just because a couple of people tell you that democracy will bring more peace to that region you go along with but when people tell you about global warming they are crazy. Isn’t safe to say that we don’t know what will happen in that unstable region of the world instead of spiting out talking points from both party.

Didn't he win that one fair and square, no questions asked?

Didn't he get BOTH the popular vote AND the electoral vote?

or is it just dems still being bitter about the 2000 election (which after all was said and done, still turned out in favor of Bush)?
