What happened to the real men, people like Goldwater and Dole and Reagan who, even when you did not agree with them, you still respected. They were honorable men. Real men.
Has the Republican Party sank so low that it can't get it's agenda across without the distortions of truth, the dirty tricks politics, the stereotyping of those who disagree with them?
Has the average Republican become so pu**y-whipped that he or she won't stand up against the extremist in his own party.
Has winning become so ommiportant that having a moral backbone is considered a handicap?
Are there not enough real men left in the Republican Party to re-capture what is used to stand for?
(A quote from a real man, a great Republican:
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -Teddy Roosevelt )
