I can't believe you people. Either you are a Jew or a Muslim - both sides incite violence, hatred and revenge. Whew.....!!
One guy is propagating the idea of beheading the soldier.
Another guy is talking about a war - likes of which Palestine has not seen. Wow, when and where will this end?
Can everyone settle down and say to yourselves, no violence for the next 10 years. As Gandhi said about non-violence: Show the other side of your face when someone slaps you. It may sound like real timid, but he taught the world what non violence can do.
Violence certainly will not settle dispute.

Why do the Palestinians have the Israeli soldier? As for the Israelis--what Palestinian soldier do you have in mind? The Israelis could annihilate Palestine if they wanted to. The Israelis have taken a lot of crap from Islamofascists and generally been pretty restrained. Everyone has his limits. Just look at Zinedine Zidane. Blowing up buses of kids, bars, supermarkets etc. with suicidal religious fanatics is quite a lot of provocation. If the Islamofascism stops, the world will be a better place. And no more B.S. about Islamofascim being a consequence of Western persecution. Islamofascism sustains itself fine without that. What came first: Islamofascists flying civilian jets into sky scrappers or the invasion of Iraq?

The Palestine authority must ensure the safe release of the Israeli soldier immediately & unconditionally.
As for the Palestinian prisoners captured by Israel:
Well. Release them now would mean having to deal with them later with their terrorist acts. Gives in to their blackmail would also mean further kidnapping would escalate. Israel'd keep them in prison for now 'til the situation improves on the Palestinian side.
The current situation is that of the Palestinian's makings. They provoked the Israeli by crossing into Israel, killing 2 & kidnapping 1 Israeli soldiers. Israel is just reacting in response. Now, the Palestinians are crying fouls over the whole thing. The Palestinians asked for it; the Israeli just simply let them have it !

Doesn't matter what the Palestinians do with him. the Israeli army will roll through Gaza like crap through a goose.
If the Palestinians want war, the Israeli's will give them one and when it's all over there will be no Palestine (not that there ever was one in the first place that is...)

If they were smart, they'd let him go with an apology to Israel. But they are not smart.
And I don' think the post above about Israelis quashing Palestinian attempts to build themselves up is accurate..its more like Palestinians have a habit of shooting themselves in the foot when they are about to take a step forward....

They definitely should not kill him. Israel is just using this as an excuse to destroy the democratically elected government in Palestine. The Israelis have a history of squashing any attempt the Palestinians make to build themselves up. All the time claiming victimhood. You cannot imagine the rage I feel concerning Israel's constant rapacity.

The soldier Should be returned. Revenge, 10 fold may be the result, if not.
I assume a Palestinian soldier would be imprisoned. The worst case scenario would result in the same result, revenge.

Both should treat each other as humans. Release them once the threat is over. Remember both are doing their duties, and here the Geneva Convention rules should apply.
A soldier's prime duty is to fight for the nation, again and again and again as long as even a single breath exists in the body. An enemy loves his nation as much as an Israeli does.
