Since you want the US to cease being a sovereign nation and be run by the UN (LOL) or for Mexico/US/Canada to become something like the EU (God forbit), surely you are not celebrating American independence. Not with a straight face at least, right?

I love how liberals are resorting to the "just because I don't agree with Bush/Gov't" doesn't mean I don't love America. I didn't even imply that. I said go look at the Gallup poll. It was a simple question, and Liberals answered in the expected way. Hey, Gallup didn't poll dogs (oh, wait, maybe they did!!!)

Oh, I love how Liberals have to have their talking points and their "my brother and my sister, and my mother and my father were in this such and such branch of the Military". Well dirt balls, I can also give you my laundry list: My Uncle served in the Korean war, my brother served in the Navy, and my cousin currently serves in the Air Force. I'm sorry, but I am liberal and I celebrate The 4th just like you do. I like living in this country, because I can say whatever I want about whatever I wish. Oh, and not all liberals are lazy and moochers. I'm on my way to business school this fall, I know two liberal entrepreneurs, three liberal teachers, and many other successful liberals. I don't do drugs, smoke or drink. It's funny how conservatives are so quick to believe that everyone in a certain group acts alike. You are all just intimidated by the fact that we don't think we have to be good little sheep and do what the government tells us to do.

My Father is a two war combat vet, oldest brother is a Vietnam Vet, Father-in-law also a two war combat vet, a few Uncles are combat vets, plus several cousins, some who are still serving. They are not "liberals", but do lean Dem. I'll be celebrating the 4th with many of them at a family gathering tomorrow. They've done more for the ideals of this country than you could ever hope to do. They did it through ACTION, not crying behind a keyboard. Obviously you must be happy with the current administration, so what are you b*tching about?

Oh geez another one. I'm sick of the "Liberals hate America" complaint. We'll be celebrating the same thing that you will. Just because we don't think the leader of the country is doing a good job doesn't mean we hate the nation, troops, or our freedoms. So, what exactly is wrong with forming an alliance with our neighbors and working together to better the nation and the world? Oh right...we need to RULE the world, I forgot. Other nations be damned. We celebrate the fact that you can live in a country that allows you to ask such a question without the fear of the "secret police" showing up at your door and throwing you in jail for criticizing the government.

Of course in this day and age, when the government routinely spies on ordinary citizens, whether it be your banking, telephone usage, or your visits to the library....these civil liberties (sounds like liberal doesn't it...) may no longer be available to you.

I know you love the idea of liberals wanting to destroy America, therefore justifying your hate, but that isn't the way it is. We love our country, and see it going in a horribly wrong direction, and are screaming our heads off about it. If we hated America, we'd just sit back and watch fools like you flush it down the toilet.

But we love America, so we're going to fight you, your hate, and your stupidity.

BTW liberals don't want the US to be taken over by the UN. Quit regurgitating the party line and actually THINK about what you're saying.

I know it isn't as fun, but if you don't take the time to actually understand the motivation of the enemy (i.e., us liberals) you make serious errors in judgment and end up talking like a fool.

Doesn't it bother you that you're just repeating what the party tells you to repeat, without actually understanding it? Seriously, why would liberals want the UN to take over the US? You know what, I had this nice long answer to all of your questions and insults, but there's no point. Like many of your conservative buddies, you don't reason very well and it doesn't matter what we say, you already have your mind made up. WELL lets see the fact that government is slow to respond but in the end does the right thing.AS more and more cases reach the highest court we get rulings which make bush out to be a dictator and horses backside.
like the tortouise and the hare bush rushed ahead but in the end we will stop him .
TO bad the wheels of justice turn so slow except for political elections like 2000 when the court elected bush in only a month.
WISH you used that head of yours for more then a hat rack and quit trying to promote the murder of thousands of people .TAXING the poor to pay defense contractors to continue to promote murder around the world.
i would rather pay taxes to have people sit around doing nothing then go to war.

My neighbor Keith, a two-war vet like myself (and Liberal in his politics) and I will be spending most of the day at the VA Hospital in Van Nuys visiting the bed-ridden Vets.

My neighbor Keith, a two-war vet and a Liberal, is not for any of the crap that you're trying to push off here.
