When...Nine of the twelve richest members of the U.S. Senate are Democrats. By far the wealthiest senator, presidential hopeful John F. Kerry, is worth $675 million by virtue of having married into the Heinz family. Another contender for the Democratic nomination, John Edwards, a trial lawyer from North Carolina, is worth $15 million. More rich Democrats in the U.S. Senate include Jon Corzine, $400 million; Herb Kohl, $300 million; Jay Rockefeller, $200 million; Diane Feinstein, $50 million; Ted Kennedy, $30 million; and Maria Cantwell, $10 million. yeah, I know, you think Bush is evil, even worse than Osama and Saddam. He is evil for helping liberate over 50 million people (who has France liberated exactly?), and for taking away civil liberties that you can't specify.

So other than that evils son-of-a-Bush, is the reason you don't want to recognize and confront evil (oh, I don't know, Iran, N. Korea, the ethnic cleansing in Sudan and Darfur) because it would mean actually moving beyond talk?

Why do some people still fly the confederate flag? All it really represents is a bunch of losers who could'nt win the war. Why do you want to fly a flag of failure? It represents weakness, there is no honor in that

Putting aside political agendas, what if none of our options for President in 2008 are any better then they were in 2004? I admit to voting for Kerry but it was a close tie between the lesser of two evils. I didn't like either. I still don't. Both seemed inadequate given the international instability and domestic turmoil. Who do you think are the front-runners for Presidential candidate in 2008? For either party. Do you think any of the potential candidates can handle what Bush will inevitably leave them?

What about Hillary? Do you think the country will accept a female candidate (as a serious contender, anyway), much less as President?

With the votes up for when/if to pull out of Iraq today (which despite my misgivings will fail miserably IMO), what about Korea? Even the god-forsaken media has taken an interest in this. (No offense to media members here) But we've heard nothing about North Korea and their touted ability to shoot missiles at us now.

If you were in the government what would you do in response to North Korea?

And yes, everyone will find "Nuke them" very funny, but let's try to avoid answers like that.

I have known a number of Republicans who are pro-choice,as they call it,and they say there is more variations on this issue than with Democrats.
Fair Enough.
But,like most people,I have a hard time taking the seriously anti-abortion minority. How's this sound, coming from and awoved
and staunch defender of the pro-life view:
"Here's some, so you know what vitriol is: You're just a useless feckless mongoloid excrescence on the rectum of humanity. And you always will be. I regret your mother not taking the opportunity to abort. May you die a horribly painful and slow death, and rot in hell for eternity.""
What a regret that my mother did not abort me?
How's THAT for an ultraconservative nut case?

With the death of al zarqawi the democrats lost their hold on the argument. Now with the party divided as to what to do about pulling troops out, do you think the Republicans will be able to seize this opportunity and regain congress? Especially with the elections coming up so quickly.

For those who don't know, the Democrats cannot come to a uniform conclusion as to what to do now that we have had two major successes, ousting two of the most dangerous men in the Middle East. Their old argument was, what the hell good are we doing? Now its, we've done our good its time to let them be. But no Democrat can quite agree how. Pull out immediately. Pull out by such and such date(Kerry). Pull out by this general time(Clinton).

The Republicans say we still have work to do. They have been led by filth for so long they need help settling back down.

Do you think the Republican will control Congress again with this new weakening of Democratic hold?

Senate just shot down a bill to raise the minimum wage. My question is if they raised it to $10.00 wouldn't that mean a boost in the economy in the long run. I feel that would increase consumer spending, grow and create more small business. After all we can send Billions to fight a war.

Some say we shouldn't punish soldiers who have committed crimes in Iraq, that it would hurt morale.
The President says the opposite. Your thoughts?

Bush vows Haditha punishment Wednesday May 31, 08:41 PM
