Why do Liberal Talking-Heads label Republicans and Conservatives "name-callers" while at the same time attacking us personaly with insults.
ex. Repugs-not a word
ex. NeoCons-still not a word
ex. Facists-what the heck!?!(if you realy think that your REALY deluded)
Now I may call you: Democrats, Liberals, stupid, uninformed, herd animal-which all pretty much mean the same thing any way, but atleast I Don't Mutilate the English Language.

Well, if Liberals are such blathering name callers who just make fun of those poor Republicans then I can see how you are a lot different and did not resort to any name calling. I think you really took the high road. In case you could not tell, I was being sarcastic.

In my book both sides are the same: You have lost track of reality long ago. Neither of the groups referenced in your diatribe really represent the American People, and haven't for some time.

Your ignorance, narrow mindedness and egotism is sad but expected. You are exactly what you accuse your opponents of being. Maybe you need to take a class in American History. This country was founded on (among other things) the idea that political debate was healthy.

Conservatives do,to be fair,often fight much dirtier.Much of this site is the proof.
The "scientific" answer to that,if you want one,is that conservatives usually pride themselves on poise and self-control.Apparent in the Reagan era but not anymore.Liberals tend to be more upfront that they make no promises when sparring with a disenting view.
That's why hypocrisy is more often a charge against conservatives from liberals.

This is what one staunch conservative said to me today:

Name calling on both sides of the aisle is rampant today - especially in this forum. I am guilty of a little bit of it myself. LOL!

What I do observe, however, is that liberals base their arguments more on emotion and tend to ignore the facts. For example, ALL economic indicators say that the economy is absolutely booming, yet if you listen to almost any liberal, the economy is going to hell in a handbasket, no one has jobs and all of our jobs are being shipped overseas. The facts simply do not support that argument.

People just need to take a step back, look at the facts and honestly assess the situation. Neither side of the aisle is the Satan the others would have them believe. Both sides have their good qualities and bad qualities. both sides have their basic philosophies of life.

This country needs to get back to the place where we respected our neighbor's opinion, argued our differences, came to decision and then rolled up our sleeves to work side by side to solve the nation's problems. This country would be a much better place if we all did that again.

You thrill off of drama don't you. You know full well your question is hypocritical and oxymoronic and you enjoy it. You can call liberals whatever you want. Just as conservatives can call liberals whatever they want.

What you seem to fail to understand is that politics is little more then the mutating and shaping words until they fit your part of the puzzle. Name calling and mudslinging is a part of it. The good politicians don't care because their reputation exceeds the stigma the names place on them. The weaker politicians have nothing better to do then pander to the uneducated and easily persuaded by issuing their own versions of perception.

So call people whatever you want. If you get stuck on the names you will have no sense of the issues at hand.

Alright, so listen up buddy. Just because I'm a democrat, does NOT mean I am stupid, or uninformed. So maybe you should stop labeling people and assuming that just because I have different political views than you do, that I'm stupid. It just shows that YOU are the stupid, close-minded person.
