My cousin killed herself at 18 before her sentencing, and I have a friend who killed himself the night before his sentencing.

I also had a friend who went back to England before sentencing and ended up dying shortly after that.

Have you lost any friends or family shortly before sentencing?

My family fled the Czech republic in the 1800's due to political oppression. They took a long and dangerous voyage to the new land. They lost their fortune and ended up picking cotton on a plantation in the South. They and I are white. So, should I get reparations? No! No more so than descendants of black slaves should get reparations.

i would hate this to happen but i thought about this. when a place gets to big and powerful they tend to lose control over themselves. think about if because its so big and powerful, power is given to states as states get powerful they stop worry about rest of country and about themselves so they grow apart and could become separat. would could or will this happen to united states

why did we wait hours to let bin laden get away before sending our forces after him?

Why a sudden drastic change from going after those responsible for 9/11 and into Iraq?

With the best military in the world, the most sophisticate equipment....
why didnt we initialiy cut off the pakistan border like we could have and trapped bin laden?

We found Saddam in a rat hole...

BUSH has even went on record to say "Bin Laden isnt that important now"

which means the hunt for him has been called off.

How can you even argue with why we havent caught Bin Laden yet?

Like Saddam who tried hard toshow off his country's wealth with palaces of Gold, only to find that everythign was gold plated and not as expensive as it was made out to be.

I hear bush supporters keep saying that Bin Laden says he was responsible.

Well how stupid is that?
Bin Laden wants to take credit for it to prove to his folowers ho strong he is.

Bin Laden says if America leaves Iraq they will have lost?

Apparently so, because Bush and his enablers constantly repeat it.

True, we never lost a major battle. But like today's current war, how do you define a win or loss? Then enemy can never be completed eliminated whether its Islamic fighters or Vietcong fighters.

Then again who benifited most as a result of the Vietnam war and the Gulf wars? Corporations?

As we know, Adolf Hitler was not of particularly high social class and did not have much power at the beginning.

So how did he gain his political power? What incentives did the ones above him have for giving him the power, promoting him?

Why would they want to give power to one not from royal background? Did he hop from one social circle to another?
