this is what he said on september 17,2001 In a statement issued to the Arabic satellite channel Al Jazeera, based in Qatar, bin Laden said, "The U.S. government has consistently blamed me for being behind every occasion its enemies attack it.
"I would like to assure the world that I did not plan the recent attacks, which seems to have been planned by people for personal reasons," bin Laden's statement said.
"I have been living in the Islamic emirate of Afghanistan and following its leaders' rules. The current leader does not allow me to exercise such operations," bin Laden said. ....................

You don't know what you're talking about. We don't even need him to say it, because ALL the physical, circumstantial, and eye-witness evidence proves it is true. No one denies that the Bin Laden family, as are many rich Saudis, have American support... but Osama has been estranged from his family for decades. Everyone who isn't a crazy conspiracy theorist knows that. It has been documented, and was so long before 9/11 happened. My dad's a drunk criminal, and that doesn't mean I support him or have anything to do with the guy. So just the fact that Bin Laden's family has ties to American oil barons doesn't mean a thing in this situation. You're connecting dots that don't add up to anything. It is hard not to do when you don't have any understanding of Middle Eastern history or the current events of the past 20 years, to be sure, but that's just it: if you don't know, you shouldn't be on here spreading rumors that are not true. It is as simple as that.

Bin Laden wasn't behind 9/11.
Bin Laden was never in Iraq. Funny how the media and government can skew things so easily, that people still think being in Iraq has anything to do with a "war on terror".
People are so easily fooled.

He said this right after 9-11. He said he was pleasantly surprised that the buildingn collapsed completely as they did. He thought the buildings would remain standing.
Why are you acting like it's news that he's admitting to 9-11 when he admitted it 6 years ago?
Go listen to Alex Jones some more.

You have previously posted similar questions with equally bad logic.
Now you want us to believe that Bin Laden feels safer with a large military force 1000 miles away than he would if it was 100,000 miles away.
Please present rational arguments. They are much more fun to answer, even when I disagree with the premise.

Well, kinda there was a link to him. I've been to every 9/11 memorial and ground zero that was attacked by osama's group al-queda. He hired men to do those acts but didn't do them himself. The beleive that osama could be the only criminal-mastermind capable of it. You asked a good question and i support your beleifs.
