Murtha challenged information coming from military leaders, saying, "Because the Pentagon says it, you believe it? You believe what the Pentagon says? ... All the things that they've told us? Go back and look: mission accomplished; al Qaeda connection; weapons of mass destruction. On and on and on and you believe the Pentagon?"

http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/11/20/iraq.funding.dems/index.html

Murtha's got a point, doesn't he?
After all of the misinformation fed to the American public from the Pentagon, are we really going to believe them, especially with Bush at the helm?
How much longer can we continue writing Bush "blank checks" ?
SHOULD we keep writing him "blank checks" for the war in Iraq?
Has there ever been a time in history when a leader, president, etc. has cost the country so much due to war, spread our military so thin and in spite of the rising cost of the war has CUT taxes and insisted they remain in place?
Has there ever been a president more destructive?

liberals act as if their intellect is superior to non liberals. they understand human nature, human interaction, human potential, human frailty. they know that god does not exist and that evolutionary processes are responsible for humanity's present place on the evolutionary time scale and that it is up to humans to create the world in which they want to live. okay, i'm fine with all that. my question is, if they are as intelligent as they claim, why do they insist on defying nature and its processes by trying to force everyone to be the same when nature itself dictates extreme diversity. and, not only that, but they champion diversity with their rhetoric all the while demanding (through legislation no less) that we not see or recognize the differences in people and their various cultures. is this simply lip service? i think so...it seems to me, liberals treat minorities, the poor, the homeless and the generally downtrodden as no more than human pets.

Some unseen entity is trying to destroy our Nation and our Freedom!

A Nation divided doesn't stand a chance

When the Government fears its people you have Freedom
When the People fear their Government you have Tyranny

Thomas Jefferson

It is time to put Party politics aside and wash the corruption out of Washinton by electing an American without Foreign and Lobbyist control.

The elements within these boards creating the division through their intentional acts of arrogance and ignorance are all part of the mind game to divide and weaken us from the inside out!

It is the same game and runs parallel to Fear and Terrorism

Operation Nation Kill

What does America mean to you

I know what it meant to the many patriots who shed their blood to get us where we are! Lets not fail them

That after 6 years of war, obscene amount of money, countless innocent cvivilans killed, heroes like Tillman murdered by its own, hundreds of Allies bombed and murdered by untrained, trigger happy troops Kabul is in danger of been taken back by some Taliban is such a shame, we should all crawl into a hole and cry. What's your opinion?

Now I ask you: Who is "insulted" by being asked to defend torture???

And I must be moving up in the world.

This is the first time Yahoo has ever supplied me with a "reason" for the violation.

Thanks, guys!

My mother-in-law hit our car and there is about $1000 worth of damage. My father-in-law is dragging his feet paying us....he is saying "i'm not sure if I'm going through insurance or out-of-pocket." Basically he keeps flip-flopping back and forth.

I want to be fair to my wife because she is handling this, but I also want our car fixed. The accident happened almost 3 months ago and it is still not fixed, and he has not paid us. One other thing to add is they took on two mortgages....so they are a little tight right now...but really, that is a choice that he made...call me hard-hearted.

What can I do or say that is diplomatic that will get results, get the money for the repair, maintain my relationship with my wife, and move on with our lives.?

I mean if Bush et. all were wiling to lie about 911 to start a war in Iraq which had nothing to do with 911, though they said it did, then they said it didn't then it didn't when they said it did, but it did when they said it didn't.....uhhhg

if they were willing to lie about all that, do you think they were willing to lie about a lesser issue regarding Valerie Plame? or is that just too little a issue to lie about? And were honest regarding leaking her name?

"There was one problem. It was not true."
"I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice president, the president's chief of staff, and the president himself."

WASHINGTON - Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan blames President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for efforts to mislead the public about the role of White House aides in leaking the identity of a CIA operative.

In an excerpt from his forthcoming book, McClellan recounts the 2003 news conference in which he told reporters that aides Karl Rove and I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby were "not involved" in the leak involving operative Valerie Plame.
