Pedophiles should be casterated As for other sex offenders it depends on the situation I have seen cases where teenagers have been busted for sex offenses because they had engaged in consensual sex. These people in that type of situation should never have been charged in the 1st place.

Depends on the crime. Everything should be seen case by case. If they rape and murder then no they do not get a second chance. As for the reasons children get these life sentences it is because of society. When a kid is molested and they have people constantly telling them they were ****** up what do you think is going to happen? The act of sex doesn't cause pain or harm it is the feelings of society which needs changing for the better.

As a victim of years of sexual abuse , i was far from the only victim,there were also a cousin and my three little sisters,NO they do not deserve a second chance ,Why should they get to restart their lives when every time i was abused is still so fresh like it just happened yesterday instead of 15 years ago

As a victim of such a crime i tell you that pedophiles very rary get caught and so if they did get caughht chances are that is not their first victim.
The kids they victimized get this life sentence and you wanna give them a second chance so that they can find another child and do the same thing to that child ;do children mean soo little to you that you are willing to take that chance.

Pedophiles must not be given chances because their craving cannot be stopped except by imprisonment.
