Blame those who voted for them. They knew exactly what they were getting and positively supported them. Anybody who voted Labour and is the subject of identity theft/fraud as a result of this data going missing I laugh at!!

It doesn't matter what you feel about politics, no matter who you have voted for in the past, how can anyone not see this is a ****-up of incredible proportions?
It doesn't matter which guy did what, it matters that they are responsible for the systems in place, for the rules, for the security that stops this for happenning.
We now have country that could be devastated by fraud, all our details are sold from criminal to criminal and even go worldwide.
We now have a country where peodophiles could find out the names of children, what age they are, where they live, the phone numbers, (to call them) where there is a single mum protecting children on her own.
How can this possibly happen?
Is this information is so sensitive how can it be possible for a 'junior' be able to download this onto a disc?
One of the worlds biggest information loss, EVER.
Not just Alister Darling but Gordon Brown and loads more should resign too.

Well Tony - English or A merican - once someone's in its too late until the next election. If you're American its a little late in the day to do anything about Bush & his cohorts....by the time you'd get enough signatures for a recall voting day in Nov will be here......that is what has (not as) to happen.

Legally ? Well there could be an election fought if there is a vote of "no confidence" in the Government in the House of Commons then the country has to go back to the polls.

The opposition parties have to grow some balls and call for a vote of 'No Confidence'.
But they won't do that, because it will happen back to them.
So the Gutless leave the Useless to rule, while the Gormless keep on shelling out.

Methinks a vote of no confidence from the people and the opposition party might be in order.

Generally, it's an election that does it. It's commonly considered to be much better than revolutions - blood, messy affairs - too damned noisy, too.

The power already exists. It's called THE BALLOT BOX.So why don't you use it instead of bleating like a flock of sheep.
