Yesterday we discussed the "English betrayal" of the American indians Tonite "English betrayal of france">During our civil war the English were supporting and supplying the south They were also invading Mexico along with Spain and France,after Mexico suspended interest payments to them [bill collectors] We reminded all 3 of our Monroe Doctrine [Euro's stay OUT of the America's] The English said "see ya we are out of here". At the beginning of WW 2 England and the free-French invaded norhtern France, Its was a rout,supplies were left for the Germans to use,the French only found out about the withdraw,at Dunkirk, after their troops complained they were not allowed on the ships [English 1st] But they left 2 French divisions to protect THEIR evacuation After the war the England and France decided to take over the Suez canal,the U S put pressure on the English, they said "see ya we're out of here" without consulting the french Would this be called betrayal ?

• Their President a dry drunk draft dodger pretending to be a "clear-eyed warrior" while he sends thousands to die.
• Their top radio "pundit"/ propagandist a hypocritical active drug user.
• Their top senators and representatives resigned in disgrace after soliciting strangers in public restrooms or bending over pages. (Foley and Craig in the last several months)
• Their templates of "Christian virtue", like Newt Gingrich, has admitted to cheating on his wife, in a marriage that ended in divorce because of it.

What gives? Is the "party that owns morality" in a state of implosion?

How do you feel about the recent reporting of crimes committed by Illegal Aliens?

Personally, I am a little torn. Granted, they are ILLEGAL, and have continued to commit crimes while living here, but nothing is being done. I guess the media attention is helping to change that, but is it too late?

As for Citizens who repeatedly break the law, where are the stories on them? CA has a three strike law, and that's not enforced . . .

Is it safe to say that I have little or no faith in our judicial system?

since they are wanting to add taxes to cigarettes in their new bill because it is supposedly raising insurance costs.

Do you not think the same logic should apply to the food being sold in these fast food restaurants since transfat and saturated fat raises your risk of heart attack by 25%?

Btw, I think raising our taxes on every little thing is ignorant. All our government wants to do is TAX, TAX, TAX.

When you see the leader of the so-called opposition calling his fellow opposition MPs to their feet to applaud an outgoing Labour Prime Minister.
When Tory MPs are told not to make things difficult for their opposites and the instructions come from the Tory whips.
When the Tory leader clearly states he wants to become the new Tony Blair.
When Gordon Brown invites Tories and Lib Dems to join his team of advisers and they willingly do so.
When Judges make proposals to change the law in line with the governments thinking and make ridiculous judgements in favour of government.
Aren't we by definition a one-party police state and no better than the old USSR?

Why is it that people think they are the same.
People say those illegal immigrants come here and get benefits and mooch of the NHS. They don't do that! they dont get any rights here, they are illegal after all. If found they are deported! They don't even get proper pay and work conditions.
Assylum seekers on the other hand, get state benefits until they get nationalised or deported.
So why is it, that people still remain ignorant and not know the difference!

We pay our National Insurance contributions as did our fathers before us and their fathers this pays for the national health service - so why do particularly politicians refer to it as FREE? i admit that we don't pay the doctor when we visit him, nor do we pay the surgeon who carries out our operation, instead we are paying regular installments into the nation health insurance which covers us for health problems so it is not FREE - we are continually paying for this service throughout our lives from the age of 16 to retirement age - how is this FREE? I don't begrudge paying this insurance so that when i need it the service is there but i do object to the reference 'FREE' ? WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?
