This is just another in a long line of examples why dems do not need to be in power. The global warming myth is just another way for them to tax us to death. I say let the limo libs in Hollywood foot the bill since they are the main one's spouting this nonsense.....

Just read the idiot logic of Henry. Washington Post being baised. When you print the truth as they have you get branded as bias. How then should we brand the so called main stream media that distorts facts on a daily basis....

I know it's hard to believe but there are scientists out there who don't beleive global warming is man-made. Sure the Earth is warming. But the logical reason for this can be summed up in one word. Nature.....

When you raise a child, you give him values and a work ethic and teach him to leave the nest and be self supportive.
The democratic equivalent is to have that same child forever under the control of the parent, go out and earn a menial existence, come back home after working a few hours, live in the basement, be supplied a few meals a day, cable and health care, and in exchange, have that child hand over a good portion of his earnings to the parents.
Why? Because the parents care -- oooooooooooh.

RIGHT ON !!!
IF the "global warming" were the only subject, to be considered in determining which party to vote for, then the Democrat fascinations about the environment, would surely throw the "informed electorate" into the Republican side.
I do adhere to the principal that true facts, physical evidence, and laboratory evaluations, will provide intelligence !!!
I have studied geology, MANY years ago, and although retired, I do attempt to keep abreast of the latest determinations concerning the origins, development, physical variances on / concerning the earth.
YES, MAN has had an impact upon our environment, be it very small, in the overall scheme of "things" !!! However, JUST ONE volcanic event, of medium size, will put more pollutants / "green house gases" into the air / atmosphere, than all mankind has, since the first human being took the first steps on this earth.
FYI, There are THOUSANDS of volcano's on this earth which could experience an event at any time, throwing all of the environment into an instance, whereby human life ( and other oxygen breathers), would be endangered within WEEKS !!!

Washington Post is your source? How fair and unbiased is that? It is so right wing at times it makes Fox look liberal.
The debate around global warming is not going to be settled any time soon. There seems to be hundreds of climatologists who say that global warming is real and that a portion of what we are experiencing with it today is caused by humans. The polar icecaps are melting. That is due to a warming of the climate. It is a cyclical thing. Human caused pollution has not caused the phenominon but has sped up the process. Only one degree difference in ocean temperatures around the globe can cause major climate shifts. Besides what objection can one have to breathing clean air and drinking clean water?

How can anyone vote for the republicans when they have shown such treachory?Bush ignored national security until AFTER 9/11!Then invaded a soveign nation with trumped up info(remember those sketches of rolling chem labs?).Have allowed waste and fraud through no bid contracts($99 to wash a load of clothes?).Now say we have to stay indefinitly in Iraq.......after we have already given them(Iraqis) more then four years to form a government and take over their own security.
It took less time for us to help the allies win WW2 then we have been in Iraq!

What the question should be is How can anyone group all people into one group or the other.
Democrat or republican, no difference, still politicians, still people trying to sell us some BS to get thier own personal agendas done...
democrat vs republican? you talk about wasting money?
Clinton gave a us a HUGE cash reserve and Bush put us into billions of debt? and still is for oil, that's what you want?
Take Care people, of yourselves that is, because our government is'nt going to...
And global warming is a fact, if you choose not to believe in it that is your choice...

Not everyone can vote for a democrat. People under the age of 18 for example. The ones who CAN vote will do so because it is a physical possibility. You are right though, I'd rather throw billions at this "war" we are fighting than try to better our well-being. Anyone in their right mind, when they go to vote that Tuesday, should think back to the last 7 years and ask themselves, "Was that possibly the worst administration the United States has ever witnessed?", and then make the correct decision.

Global warming myth...wow, you are so well informed.
Don't ask politicians, ask a geologist about global warming, It happened many times before, & it is happening now, & humans are not helping the cause, but they can do little to stop it. Did you know the magnetic poles are reversing too? There is evidence that has happened many times before too. We haven't been doing anything to cause that, or is that what repubs will say to tax the middle classes more?
Before you go off on a rampage, at least get the facts from people who actually do know what they are talking about!

Well people tell me I have only 2 choices...which is a lie.
I can vote for a Democrat that will be unable to do anything or effect any real progress or change.
I can vote for a Republican who will effect great change in the GOP's desire to turn America into a police state empire with it's party head as a Lord Emperor.
Or maybe we can all pull our collective heads out of our @sses and stop supporting both these treason loving parties of failure

The lesser of two evils, the same insane choices we have had to make for too long.. We are owned by these two parties like it or not! Last nights debate convinced me they are the same no matter what party affiliation. Dems were elected to end the war in Iraq, now that are in lockstep with the neocon brigade...

Because there are no good options.
After Bush, we need someone who actually values the people--its not going to happen, but to many it looks like the Dems have a better shot of it.
