I hear/see this word used frequently to described pejoratively the conservative right wing agenda. The ppl that are using this word really do not have a grasp on what it really means..i do belive. For instance, I just answered a question referring to "Constitution Week" and if the neocons were going to celebrate it; it had a sarcastic tone. (what this has to with being a neocon is beyond me)

Neocons do not oppose the constitution...they have liberal views on domestic policy (which if anything would mean they support the constitution as a living a document) and conservative views on foriegn policy. This in anyway doesn't make them anti-constitutional.

Thank you for your time...this is more a rhetorical question so you need not answer unless if you would like to enlighten us more on the subject at hand. Or if you feel that I am incorrect in my understanding of the word. I always enjoy a good debate. :)

Why are people not completely ashamed to accept "services" from the government?

Such as welfare, housing assistance and other services.

To me it would be like admitting I was a complete failure. Maybe its just me, but I would rather work 3 jobs than take money from someone else for doing NOTHING

"When Bush refuses to answer one way or the other, he comes off as a shady politician who cannot be trusted," said Robert Novak of CNN's The Capital Gang. "He also comes off as an insane mass murderer who kills lots of people and eats them."

So what? Why should any of this be a crime? He may have done something wrong to his wife and family, but is this anyone else's business? And if he's judged to be a hypocrite by the voters (an anti-gay politician who seeks gay sex) isn't that simply an issue for the voters? Where are all you libertarians screaming out how wrong it is to criminalize these kind of activities?

Is rape ever right? What about murder?

For those who count yourself among the liberals, do you believe that there are any absolutes? Is the search to be right always the first step to hate, crime, and injustice?

Is the cure to discrimination to be entirely indiscriminate? That is, to never use your knowledge to try and do what is right? Doesn't any rational person have to employ discrimination in any decision he or she makes?

First of all, let me say that I have nothing against smokers. However, I have to say that, like a lot of other people, I don't enjoy having my eyes or my nostrils burn thanks to secondhand smoke. Of course, that's not to mention the fact that studies have conclusively shown that secondhand smoke causes cancer. And anyway, it's not as if people have been completely forbidden to smoke. Rather, it's only in certain public places. I understand that the smoking ban probably inconveniences a lot of people, but can't smokers understand the fact that some of us don't want to breathe in their smoke?

I've been influenced by some conspiracy theories lately ( New World Order) and I really believe things are going to happen in the next 20/30 years. I strongly believe that America will try to seize power over the earth and that we will have an Orwellian state. I also believe that there will be a great war within 40 years of reactionists against the New World Order. Who believes me and which side will you choose?
I will choose the reactionists, even though I'm a pacifist and against killing.
ANARCHY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
