Yes, people are becoming more independent, and are begining to call for a third political party.
Extremism in the defense of extremism is not moderation.

Dude, this is the lead up to a primary election. The interest is not in unifying America but in getting enough of your party to vote for you so you can run in the general election. Next year, after both parties have their candidates, the one who appeals to the most voters will win.
Maybe, after that person is elected president they may seek to unify the American people but don't count on it. America is an interesting place. It is made up of over three hundred million different opinions. The most we can ever achieve is to agree to disagree.
The system is always restrained by the stress of differing views. It keeps the people strong and the government weak. That is how it is designed to work.
Define your core values and study which party best represents your own core values. Most independent voters are not really independent voters. They just do not participate in primaries where you declare what party you are affiliated with.

Stalin preceded Hitler in killing hundreds of thousands and killed extra beneficial than Hitler. Saddam had close hyperlinks to the Soviet Union till it dissapeared he became right into a leftist. Pol Pot is the communist in charge for the Cambodian Holocaust. Mao Tse Tung presided over the Cultural Revolution that killed hundreds of hundreds. Leftists have been on the incorrect area of issues in usa of america too like while they unfavourable Ron Reagans' celebrity Wars initiative or deployment of cruise missiles in Europe, he gained the palms race and made the Soviet Union crumple and you leftist scum have been incorrect on those ones.

I am rebelling against politics. My rebellion is based more upon my evolving economic philosophies than by a protest against nut jobs and extremists. However, there certainly is a large component of protest in my drift toward being independent from any political party.
Just my experience.

It's a good question. I'd be happy if all the extreme language and lying resulted in people flowing to a third party, then everyone would have to work a little harder to get the votes.

We need a viable third party. The first 2 are pretty pathetic.

Neither, what they are doing is polarizing America between the two major parties. Which is of course exactly what the parties want.
