Without poor people to exploit how could they ever get rich? It is just that they don't see them as worthy of respect, and consider them evil for not finding a way to exploit others the way they do.
There has been considerable research into the Mindset.

George Lakoff on Moral Politics: How Liberals and Conservatives Think - has considerable insight into the differences, and how they can think that poor people who don't have cars should be responsible for getting out of New Orleans, but Bush should not be responsible for attacking Iraq on false premises.

Paul Rosenberg has a great report on Dr Bob Altemeyer's studies on the Pathology he calls Right Wing Authoritarianism (RWA) that leads to many bad traits.
There is an excellent collecting of research about why that is so and how folks become RWAs here

I don't know about conservative liberal whatever, but wealthy powerful people tend to be very arrogant with exceptions of course and arrogant people hate anyone they think inferior to them.
And poor people are very inferior to them in their minds, just the way pharoah hated the hebrews, but I think the problem was they hated the fact they needed them for labor and they were robust and strong and the pharoahs needed them more than the hebrews needed them considering the workers actually create the wealth not the owners of the land.
The pharoahs and eygptians were frail, based on shows on the discovery channel I watched, and they felt threatened by the hebrews (why do you suppose he complained about how numerous the hebrews were getting and went about commiting genocide against the male newborns?)
One article I read said that people tend to hate those they feel threatened by or don't understand. To keep your slaves in check keep them small in number and unorganized, and keep them so busy they don't have time to protest or rise up against their captors, isn't that why they increased their workload when they wanted to leave and worship Jehovah? He was about to lose his labor force. and used this to try and stop them. of course anyone who knows the story knows how they were finally freed.

Of course not!
But Liberals love poor people. They love them so much they want to see more poor people! So give all your money to the government and be poor. Don't worry. The government will take care of you in your poverty.

Of course not. Nothing makes a con happier tthan to see a poor person rise up and make something of himself.
There's nothing wrong with being poor. What's bad is using being poor as an excuse.

No Considering that Conservatives Christians give far more than liberals with their own time and money to the poor than liberals.
Conservatives try to teach people to get off welfare rather than making it a family tradition.

No.
And poverty is not an immutable characteristic, like race or gender. People can change their economic status through their own actions.
Conservatives are disappointed when people don't take the many opportunities this country affords them to succeed.
