George W Bush. I am disappointed in him that he didnt do any of the things he promised to do. The reasons that I voted for him did not become a reality.

Yes. Norm Coleman, U.S. Senator from Minnesota. He was elected as a Democrat as Mayor of St. Paul, changed to the Republican Party, and got re-elected as Mayor. As Mayor, he did a lot for the city (not my city, but you hear about the politics in both the Twin Cities all over the news). He ran for Governor, and had a lot of good ideas (he did lose to Jesse Ventura, though).

When he ran for U.S. Senate, I voted for him. Since that time, all he seems to be doing is trying to advance his political career any way he can. He's kissing up to the "Party", and doesn't seem to be doing what he did before that I liked.

Unfortunately, he's running again, and his opponent looks like it will Al Franken. I really don't know which is worse. I may just have to vote third party for the Senate seat next year.

Yep, many of them at least once. I am sometimes shocked by some of the things these people do once they are elected (I mean all of them, even the mine inspector).

I figure it this way, no one will ever agree with each and everyone of my stands on issues. If I didn't get a chance to be disappointed at least once, they were working very hard. As long as I agreed a majority of the time, I am happy.

The only president I've ever voted for who won was Clinton. I was certainly disappointed in his personal behavior and in "Don't ask, Don't Tell" and signing DOMA.

That's about it.
