I hear that a lot as argument, why the US must be the best place to live, because of immigration! People immigrate all over the world back and forth for various reasons. Cubans go to Miami, because its close. Nigerians go to France, because it was their colony once. Poles go to Germany, because they want to get work.

a) enviromental damaging emissions
b) garbage
c) use of non renewable resources
d) only country to occupy two other countries and have bases in 76 more
e) biggest producer of military weapons
f) bankrolled/rolls the biggest criminals, like Khomeini, Saddam, Noriega, Bin Laden, Idi Amin
g) overthrows governments with payed revolutions on regular basis

Now, please understand my question is not about speaking ill of this country, I am proud to call my home the great U.S.A.! I support all those who fight for our freedom and for those who can not fight for themselves.

It seems to me the terrorists hate the western lifestyle because of the gluttonous, glittery and corrupt ways that have become mainstream in our country. Yet the Hollywood liberals speak out against the war, don't they know the terrorists would kill them before they would the average U.S. citizen if they had the chance? They shout out against our fight for democracy, for our desire to protect ourselves and others from terror. They do this under the guise of "political correctness" and "peace and harmony". Do they realize it's they who live the lives these extremists want to do away with?
Perhaps Hollywood would benefit from issuing a self-evaluation and realize it's they who give our country and culture a bad name.

have you read the communist manifesto? capital? i have. and you likely dont know what communism stands for despite its failure, at no fault of its own. i personally think socialism is awesome, do you see me pointing out the fact that capitalism is creating an ever widening gap between the rich and poor and how the poor in america have no medicare and poor education at every opportunity?

Insurance companies don't provide any health care. Wouldn't a single payer system, that we all belonged to, give us more collective bargaining power when dealing with the pharmaceutical companies and hospitals? A single payer would represent over 200 million people. That's a lot of collective bargaining power.

when we use propaganda to accuse other americans of traitorous actions, aren't we doing what bin laden sought to do with this tape? why do posters say that liberals have the same basic beliefs as bin laden?

he has done a great deal of damage with this tape, no planes, no buildings, nothing, just words. it is a terrorist bomb. when americans use it in a divisive manner, aren't they ones who are partners with bin laden?

Look at the different pictures of Bin Laden. In the new video his beard is not only dark, but shorter. Based on the teachings of Allah, you are to let your beard grow long. Therefore wouldn't it be a sin to cut your beard? I submit, based on this it is fake. Your opinion?

They were fighting a 'foreign occupation', right?
But, the Russians regarded these 'fighters as 'insurgents/terrorists', right?

So, taking that line of logic, it must be okay for Iran to support the 'freedom fighters/terrorists' in Iraq, right?
