I heard 79% of republicans voted for it, while only 64% of democrats did. Can this possibly be true?

Why haven't the democrats supported civil rights as much as republicans?

Why did the U.S. support brutal dictators like Trujillo, Batista, Pinochet, just to name a few. I mean Batista was just as totalitarian and evil as Fidel. Trujillo tortured hundreds of thousands of dissenters and massacred close to 50,000 Haitians yet the U.S. turned a blind eye. Is right wing totalitarianism better than left wing totalitarianism?

its funny the laugh at him during the debates, but the jokes on them. they dont even realize how fake they all sound wit5h thier talking points. they better be careful if ron paul has a few debates like that he could become a real serious threat. im an independant and i have yet to see a candidate as attractive as ron paul in the entire race.

And the shere hypocracy in the Republican party....When Nixon and Agnew were running for office, their slogan was "Law and Order".

Well, when they were hauling VP Agnew away to jail for not paying his income taxes, he said "I don't have to pay income taxes, I'm Vice President of the United States!"

And I'm sure we all remember what happened to poor Nixon.

Was that Law and Order?

Can we honestly believe any Republicans hypocritical politial rhetoric anymore?

Looking at archived material the man was worshipped like a god, His records would have outsold the Beatles. The people really loved the guy, His rallies had more fans than any rock concert. How todays politicians must look back with envy, not at his policies but his fanbase

I have done some searching on this site and every question about America that I go to there are answers like "America is a racist, evil country, or America sucks". And I want to know, why do people say things like that? You have no right to judge a country where most of those people who insult the U.S have never been to! Every country has it's ups and downs, I mean, take a look at Britan, they might have a healthcare program, but it is a total bureaucracy over there! Those people think that they can judge America just from what they hear from the news. And I am asking you how can you judge a country where you don't know the people. So what if we have racist, evil people? Every country in the world does! Instead of judging us by the bad, judge us by the good! Look at Operah Winfrey! She traveled to South Africa to give Christmas to those who never had it! There are good people here too! So why judge us and hate us? That is what I am asking you.

Any false answers subject to madatory perjury cahrges with no possibility for pardon or cummuting.

Ive asked this already, and received the sametype of answers that only showed a lack of understandign of the proces I propose.

#1: every year, each politician will stand before oversight committe and forced to answer questions best of their knoweledge.
Questions asked by both sides.

#2: if answers given prove false.
example: AG, cant recall. and find he was lying.
Move to a investigation on intentioanl misconduct.
If found guilty,public servant does jail time for abusing his power.

#3: thats it. Simple mandatory Q&A.
No curruption since its just asking questions.

Politicians who choose to lie and are caught do the time for their crime.

WHY ISNT THIS A GOOD IDEA???

ok I plan to be a doctor and a friend and I were talking about medical marijuana. I think that if a patient was suffering from a condition that they thought that marijuana was helping than it would be ethical for me to prescribe it for them. And unethical for me not to.

What do you think should guide the decision to prescribe marijuana for medicinal reasons?

BTW I don't smoke marijuana. And I do want to be responsible.
