I feed, clothe and educate & provide healthcare for two poor families who live in a slum district near me- and both parents work. How attractive does free basic health care, welfare, dole and housing appear to them- where in this country (Indonesia) everything is user-pay and non university-degree work is rapidly heading offshore to China?
Medicine here although cheap by Western standards- remains very expensive to the poor 60%+ of th population.

You seem to forget that the English, whatever that race is, is a mixture of races, as is almost all the Nations of the World, however, you seem to think that you had a right to occupy many of the World's Nations, and claim much of their minerals etc as your own, in your quest to Build an Empire.
