Why should they most of the ones they don't want live hear anyway. But I think we should It would solve the immigration issue but first things first. In order to accept anymore territories or countries that want to become states we need to make """"""English"""" by means of constitutional amendment the official language of the United States and give everyone 3 years to learn the language more if your from a new acquisition of state hood or find another place to call home. It works in Canada and their not even a real country. eh :P.

Yes, if the u.s. allows it, then it would become a state and either follow mainland/Alaska and hawaii rules, or if it decides, it can just join the us without being a state, and then the people won't have to pay the same taxes, or follow the same rules.

like who?

canada?
thanks to mulroney, USA already has its paws on pretty much every resource canada has to offer. integrating canada into the country itself would only make USA share those resources.
and anyways, canada fancies a monarch as a constitutional head of state too much to taint it with crude capitalist powers.

mexico?
3/4's of it are already in the southwest. maybe just to make things more formal.

iraq maybe?
kind of long-distance mother-daughter relationship. someone has to supply oil, after all.

Yes, if the country wishes and if the US agrees. It won't happen, however. We don't need more legislators in the US government.

The USA is eying Greenland. The large island is currently a dependency of Denmark. They were granted home rule and want to tap into their abundant natural resources. Demark has been reluctant to do so, but the Americans are readily awaiting Greenland to go independent and ask to USA to step in to tap those resources. Greenland has a population of only 50,000. So moving more Americans there would make it more American. This is exactly how the Chinese have conquered Tibet and Xinjiang Uygur.

I expect they would accept Canada with open arms, because they want to get their hands on what natural resources they haven't already taken. Not so with Mexico, though.

I think the US would have to agree to this. They might be reluctant to redo all the flags.
