And the shere hypocracy in the Republican party....When Nixon and Agnew were running for office, their slogan was "Law and Order".

Well, when they were hauling VP Agnew away to jail for not paying his income taxes, he said "I don't have to pay income taxes, I'm Vice President of the United States!"

And I'm sure we all remember what happened to poor Nixon.

Was that Law and Order?

Can we honestly believe any Republicans hypocritical politial rhetoric anymore?

It is not just Larry Craig. We also had Ted Haggart and David Vitter builing their careers on one thing and then doing the same thing they were condemning. It is this kind of hypocrisy that has made the Republican party become the fundemental party of do as I say not as I do. Before you bring Clinton into the picture, remember two things:

1. Clinton did not build up his career opposing people fooling around.

2. It was not like the Republican party ignored his little affair with Lewinsky. Even those Republicans who were also having an affair.

I'm pretty much numb to it by now. Listen to the xenophobes when they talk about immigration. I can't even remember the amount of times I've heard "I'm not against immigrants, It's about the RULE OF LAW". Then when one of them gets caught in a prostitution scandal or trolling for tail in a public mens room, they forget all about the "rule of law".
