Try badmouthing the country or the government in Communist China, North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, or Islamofacist Iran...bet you would appreciate the freedom you now have.

no I don't fee free, but, most people can be brain washed into believing any thing ,for instance in Russia Stalling had the people so brainwashed into believing that the U,S, was nothing but a murder and robbery state and used our movies to back up his claim, they depicted them as real situations,
propaganda is a powerful tool and we all should be very careful in what we believe from our new's media and politicians, America is not a free nation and anyone who has traveled to other country's will soon realize this, sure it is better than a lot of country's but, if you are of the 50's or 60's age you will wonder how people can feel free in the U,S, they tell us they are passing this or that law for our protection etc, what they are doing is chiseling away at our freedom and conning us into believing it is for our own benefit or safety, but remember what Ben Franklin said "quote.any one who will give up a freedom for a security , deserves neither, " and when we sit on our butts and allow our gov, to pass a law against another group, and not complain, is just a method of eroding a freedom and will also apply to you and I sooner or later, our people have become dumber as our educational system has deteriorated, and want to depend on our gov to protect us in every instance, THEY CAN'T AND WON'T but, they will take away your freedom, you had better believe Ben was 100 % correct,
Jeppers_creepers, you have been hiding some where, around every city I have visited in the last 2 years I have been finding cameras on about every street corner, and other stragitic areas, our cars etc and even checked at different locations thru out, did you know that every car has a chip that identifies it and it is recorded and can be tracked by global pos, or you may want to say "the eye in the sky"

Well, so far I haven't been dragged in front of Mr. Bush and had my whole body cut with razors and had salt poured over me like Saddam's sons had done to several hundred people for his pleasure. I have a nice air conditioned house, a nice car, a job, friends, I can go where I want to when I want to, buy what I want, when I want. I have had police protection which was very good. So yes, I believe this is the land of the free.

It is one of many 'free lands.' I hate how everyone is so proud of America being the 'land of the free' like every other country is run by communists and dictators. Personally I prefer Switzerland.
A free country? Hey, you get what you pay for...

it's the land of the delusional who are convinced money enables freedom, which is partially true, but in order to make enough money they need to slave of to a greater capitalist beast.
a bit of an oxymoron concept.
and even the idea of civil freedoms, which has been sold for the last ~200-300 years as an american trademark, is being effectively ruined by the bush administration.
latest blow - no court order needed to access info on any server in the US. privacy? what was that?
"for oil and the country!"

Excessive freedom has a very high price to pay. Now everyone has to cope with the problems of small-arms possession, deteriorating morals, teenage crimes/deaths,increased depression/loss of control among parents-teachers- police-officers, immigration, unemployment, loss of sense of belonging, etc. Once there is moderation, more legislation and less freedom, the country can easily get back on its feet.More peace of mind while walking in public.

Yep,
We don't have camera's on our street corners.
We don't put people in jail for violating speech laws like canada and europe do.
So i'd say were pretty free.

I'm feeling free enough when I don't focus on taxation or nanny-state laws.
There's nowhere else I'd rather live.
