why can't the world be one country with somebody like Abrham Licoln as president or king? We could have states and stuff that ae just like America and England. That way we wouldn't have war and terrorism because the president woud not allow it.

Soooooo many people disapprove of both our President AND our Legislature.

People have simply quit swallowing the tripe.

Do you personally know any apologists?

"MaxxP", "yupchagee", and "the gubmint" have even slowed down a bit here on Y/A.

Are they becoming fatigued?

free of charge, while men go of to sporting events, men usually spend quite alot at the weekends on these things first there is petrol, then parking, a couple of beers probably more before the game, very often lunch in the corporate suits, then a few more drinks after the game, while the wife or girlfriend is stuck at home looking after the children, many of the men do not even ask the women if they mind. I would like to know how many of these men organise and pay for childcare so their partners or wives can have a nice saturday afternoon?

Why do those on the left charge Bush with dictatorship yet at the same time, say nothing as to the leadership of say Fidel Castro? How about the leader of Iran? How about the various leaders in other controlled states over the world? How about the lefts poster child Hugo Chavez? You have those on the left who cheer and applaud this pitiful excuse for a human. He is a true dictator he plans to abolish term limits and silence all opposition to his leadership and yet the left praise him as being a hero and statesman! Hmmmm? Get the feeling its not totalatarism they oppose but only right leaning policy leaders! If its a leader who aspouses socialist, marxist views he is ok in their book?
Oh, and Liberals, could you for once actually answer the exact question here and not just regurgitate leftist propoganda and skirt the issue and avoid the question cause you cant admit what the majority already know!

I have become very aware of the evils that go on in our country, and the very soon economic, environmental, and emotional crisis that is about to hit the world. Now I could very well just ignore this and go about my life, but I can't for I would be drowning in guilt. I feel a huge responsibility to do what I can to keep our planet beautiful and healthy. Better to say, I want to help the human race not only survive, but to evolve our consciousness from a borderline primitive level to something greater that would secure our survival. In ideas guys?

How can we convince employers to keep their production in our own country? Maybe a nation-wide boycott of a luxury product would help. By that I mean, toys, autos, electronic equipment, or whatever. I know it costs more to manufacture here, but the greed at the top is pretty extravagant. Middle and lower classes in the U.S. are struggling, while the rich get richer. I pity the thousands who can't affdord the mortgages on their new homes. Bankruptcy is at an all-time high, according to the L.A.Times. I know, bad loans. Any ideas?

It Reagan about 15-20 years to get the credit he deserved. At the end of his Presidency his ratings were in the 30's as well. Doesn't it seem like we beat up our two term presidents no matter what party affiliation?

What is the fairness doctrine? Why do democrats want it back? Why are republicans against it? Why is it such a big deal to those in talk radio? Would it really make that much difference if it were to be reinstated?

Yes, I guess strange times calls for strange logic. Here are some people that say saying we need more terror attacks so people can appreciate the job the president is doing on the war on terror or something like that.

"At the end of the day, I believe fully the president is doing the right thing, and I think all we need is some attacks on American soil like we had on [Sept. 11, 2001]," Milligan said to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, "and the naysayers will come around very quickly to appreciate not only the commitment for President Bush, but the sacrifice that has been made by men and women to protect this country."

To save America, we need another 9/11. America's fabric is pulling apart like a cheap sweater. What would sew us back together? Another 9/11 attack.

A lot of times when liberals and Dems try and refute the good economic news, they say unemployment statistics are based on those who are currently collecting benefits, and ignore those who have already exhausted their benefits.

Nothing could be further from the truth. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment data the government prepares every month, including the unemployment rate, is based on household surveys of 60,000 households.

Here's the link to the appropriate page http://www.bls.gov/cps/cps_htgm.htm Read it for yourself, it's only about 1 page long.

Personally, it would seem to me to be appropriate that we give "the rich" a hearty "Hip, hip, hooray!" & a "Thank you very much, sirs & madams, for paying WAY more than your fair share so that I don't have to!" For you fairness police, that is what I would call fair treatment of "the rich" - instead of the lack of gratitude you evince towards your betters (i.e., those paying your taxes for you).

Oh, & for those of you too lazy to look at the data let me hep ya out: the bottom 50% of tax returns paid 3.3% of Federal income taxes. Whattaya fairness police have to say about that one?!?

Lastly, if anyone goes anywhere near "That's a lie!", "This can't possibly be true!", "You don't really believe that, do you?", or any other nonsense that shows that you not only are not open to the truth, you're too lazy to go to the link & get it, YOU WILL BE REPORTED!

That last comment always draws an idiot or two; they'll be reported, too.
