Vital records said that the attendant failed to send in my paperwork. I've sent them everything from my parent's divorce papers to school census records & they have denied my reqest SEVEN times since 2005!! < It costs $12, plus $10 administrative fee to file for a delayed birth. >
I can't get a driver license, picture id, and worst of all, my kids can't get medicaid. Virginia requires a certified birth certificate for everyone in the household.

Better go to the hospital and see if you can find a record, or at least the medical files of your birth!

Just think, you can never die, because you never lived!

do you have a SSN card? or a passport or drivers license? I think you need a birth certificate to get that stuff, so try and backtrack. Maybe you can get a copy from one of these places... Good Luck

Contact the hospital directly. They may still have some records or point you in the right direction.
PS: Is it possible you are not aware of your correct birthdate? That would matter.
