Most politicians stand up and talk about how they're going to fix health care. The free markets have failed health care, etc.

However, isn't it the politicians who have forced Hospitals to give away free services? Try setting up a Hot Dog stand with the government telling you that you have to give them away for free to anyone who asks. How long will you stay in business?

They've allowed lawyers to sue doctors, hospitals, and insurance companies to no end.

If you write a book or a song (in a matter of days) you can get royalties from that for decades to come. Cure cancer, and after paying millions, sometimes billions to discover and market it, nearly 1 billion to get it FDA approved, you have only 7 years to earn back what you've put into it and make a profit so that you have capital to cure something else.

Don't we want people taking risks to cause disease and allow them to profit greatly if they do?

So, isn't it government that screwed it up and want more govt. to fix it?

a microchipped police state rather than vote for 9 term congressman and obviously the Honest candidate RON PAUL ???

Or am I'm wrong and all of the above plus borrowing $3 Billion a Day from China to go to no bid contracts for the Iraq War while the Mexicans take over America with police protection is really the best way to go ??

Did our military pressence in Iraq prevent the attack...or was it just good old fashioned police work ?...any shred of proof that the un-Patriot Act did anything to stop it ? Coidence that Bush says we're due for another attack and one just pops up out of thin air (these guys had been under surveillence for a LONG time) ?...Tired of living in fear ?...straight DEM ticket in '08 ;-)

Don't the kids in school realize that these people have broken the law and that the U.S. just ends up rewarding them for it? Can they differentiate between ignoring laws for humanitarian reasons and ignoring the law period? Does that send a message that laws are made to be broken and cause a complete disrespect for authority and disregard for suffering any consequences for breaking the law?
