yes in my option i do think that the politicians should read the bills very carefully and up close before they vote on them .they should read the bill before they vote on it to make sure it makes any sense to them .so that we do not get screwed on it . in the past are politicians have screwed us around till nothing makes sense any more .

Without a doubt YES!

If we have to live with it for years after it becomes law they should spend the time required to read it!

And while we are at it they should not be allowed to add junk amendments to a bill, it should be considered on it's face value only.

Yes, and if they don't have time to read them they should stop going on taxpayer-funded vacations. And screw the Patriot Act...it's only a few steps removed from Orwell's predictions in 1984.

why's a bill gotta be 20 pages long? constitution was only 12 pages total. must be something fishy.
