Did our military pressence in Iraq prevent the attack...or was it just good old fashioned police work ?...any shred of proof that the un-Patriot Act did anything to stop it ? Coidence that Bush says we're due for another attack and one just pops up out of thin air (these guys had been under surveillence for a LONG time) ?...Tired of living in fear ?...straight DEM ticket in '08 ;-)

Yeah vote a straight democratic ticket and watch America get blown to shreds by a bunch of morons who don't believe terrorism exists in the world, and that Islamic terrorists want to strike America again. This is getting so old. I will vote a straight Republican ticket until I die.

Like the previous "threat" (the paintball nuts who "were plotting to attack Fort Dix) this is nothing but some kooks (who didn't even have any funds, explosives, etc.) And, like the last bunch, the FBI has been watching these wannabes for a year.
They've likely got a whole bunch of so-called "terror cellls" on the string. Every so often Bush/Cheney want another dog-and-pony show, so they pick up one group and trot them out as a "success in defending the country against terror."
It would be funny if they wern't letting the real terrorists sit over in Afghanistan/Paakistan safe and sound.

Notice how this story died within twenty four hours of it's discovery. Somehow idle chat became a National security crisis--I see more BS from the WhiteHouse that could be deemed as a National Security crisis than any terrroristic threat. No weapons or explosives or a concrete game plan found in this investigation--more fear tactic BS that has been overemphasized in a Republican time of need---Sorry Karl--were just not interested in the politics of fear to support the Republican Neo-Conservative agenda!!
