Uh yeah...didn't see much praise there as you put it. The commended him on his approach. Of course his plan is laid out to study it for the next 18 months before determining a direction. Not really sure he is going to be put up for a Noble for this. Good try though. Bush could only steal the thunder from someone he farts louder than and that is all.

It's not like Gore invented global warming. Bush is allowed to have an opinion on the matter. (If this were about the internet, then maybe Gore could claim Bush was out of line!)

In all honesty it's about time he pulled his head out of his *** concerning global warming. Whether or not he is straight up taking gores credit or not, he is actually trying to do something about it. So right on for Germany for recognizing Bush's stand on the issue. I mean in all actuality, he is taking a stand on it after all.

Are you referring to his idea that global warming is a bigger menace than terrorism and nuclear weapons. The output from man will amount to about 1 degree in the next 50 years if there aren't natural buffers in the environment that will prevent it. Warmer nights, more efficient photosynthesis and longer growing seasons is not a reasonable reason to suppose the death of the planet. I would think that inventing the internet would be a sufficient legacy to satisfy most nontechnical, nonscientists.

No, It is not much of an idea! He was being stroked. They all get together and have a plan, but each country implements it how they see fit. That will go about as far as the Geneva Conventions did with Bush!

Well, I mean not really. he cant stop them from praising him. And if he did nothing, he'd be criticized for that too. So he had to do something, which is better than doing nothing. People praise Gore already. He got a medal.

First of all, Al Gore has done about as much research as an undergraduate might do on a research paper. They are not his ideas, so no one is stealing his ideas.
What is your goal here? Do you support these ideas or not? . . . OR do you just want to see your professed enemies suffer, die, and be humiliated.
Be man or woman enough to give credit where it is due or admit that you agree with someone when you do. Don't let hatred and bigotry blind you my friend.

Bush is trying to take credit for everything except admitting that he started a war for nothing and that he was wrong. If only he would own up to his big mistake, more people would respect him.

No. He would have to first understand it was a good idea. I don't think anybody listed "good idea" as a bullet item on his cue cards.
Also, he does not understand "idea" when placed near the word "good".
Steal? No, he does not steal. He has people for that...
