The way the always show the guy on TV, with messed up hair, looking as bad as possible as if to make you hate middle easterners even more than they already try to make people hate them. If you ask me it's just another lie. It seems that the news nowadays tries to make foreigners sound either stupid of evil.

Other than the fact that congress did not declare war in either case, they do not have any bearing on each other. I've heard people state that we pulled out of Vietnam without winning so why can't we do the same in regards to Iraq. Do people not understand that if we were to pull out right now Iraq would fall into an irreparable state of chaos and civil war? Although I did not agree with the invasion, now that we are there we need to finish what we started.

Political candidates should not be allowed to use popular actors in their advertising campaigns. Candidates too often win elections because they have actors for friends rather than because they are honestly qualified to represent the public interest.

Scientists now report that the surfaces of Mars and Venus are also getting warmer. What new laws and fines must Mr Blaire introduce to reduce the heating of the planets?

This is rediculous. 4 years of heavy combat and what is getting accomplished? We are just laying waste to the Iraqi's and to many Americans have died. If you want to destroy a country just bomb them. Screw this rebuilding crap. It's just going to be crap for years to come. Screw the middle east!

I just can't stop crying. I was searching the web and accidently found a website that has the beheading videos of many Americans and others. I honestly couldn't believe my eyes. It doesn't seem real.. I mean we never experience that sort of stuff here. These were people, and you can just see the look in their eyes.. you can tell the second that they're "gone." And then you just start thinking about these people's families. Normally I preach peace and ostracize otheres who are always screaming about killing middle easterners, but after seeing these videos I feel like I could kill them myself. I know it is wrong to say, but now I feel like we should get rid of anyone who can nonchalantly kill a person and go on living their lives. They're not people, they are monsters.
I get it now. Its easy for me to preach one thing, but I'm not there. And these videos just give you a little view of what its really like for the soldiers. I sort of feel ashamed of myself now... what do you guys think?

women who murder their own children are given slap on the hand and free will to have more kids?

And I am NOT talking about abortion, I am talking about the women who kill their "out-of-the-womb" children and just get a couple years in the loony bin.

To me they are both the same. I dont even like kids, but I dont think they should be abused.

i don't really understand why the two are linked together.

if it costs so much for the county to operate, than just because the value of land goes way up doesn't mean it all of a sudden costs more to operate.

example, running a garbage truck in an area that a house costs 20K. now the houses are worth 40k one day, does that mean it costs more to operate the garbage truck?

i use to live in south florida where the property values and taxes skyrocketed, yet all i heard more and more is how broke the country was. my house payment went from 750 a month to over 1100 a month in less than 3 years, though i wanted to live there, i couldn't afford it.

why do they do that?

i would think they would sit down, see how money is required and then tax from there.

You know, those of us in the mushy middle used to sit back and watch the polarized fringes scream at each other. It was lots of fun. Now, we're all polarized and at each others throats. You've got to be on the left or the right. You can't just sit in the middle and embrace some parts of each ideology. HEL NO!! That would be thinking for yourself! That's not allowed anymore. Anyone else remember?

Dem Dean admits to major felony.

Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean has been meeting with world leaders to repair "the extraordinary damage" that the Bush administration has done to America's image and to prepare the way for a new Democratic president.
"I am trying to build relationships with other governments in preparation for a Democratic takeover," Dean told me. "I want to make clear that there is an opposition in America and that we are ready to take power and that when we do, we are going to have much better relationships with them."

Federal law:
Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both. This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply, himself or his agent, to any foreign government or the agents thereof for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.
