to collect our wheelie bins/ rubbish every two weeks instead of every week.
They claim this will help the enviroment and the councils will not have to pay the extra levy that brussels want to impose on the Uk for rubbish disposal.
I don't know about anyone else but my wheelie bin is at the point of overflowing by the next bin collection (there are 5 people who live in my house)
they are also imposing charging us more for our rubbish collections based on weight and what we throw away (bin snoops will check our bins to make sure we are throwing the correct items away eg non recyclable) and Labour think this is a good idea and may approve of this plan.
Any views on this?

I mean think about it? Say you earn £20k per year, looks good on paper but by the time you get charged income tax, N.I.tax road tax, counsel tax, vat and the like, how much are you left with? Everything seems to be some sort of tax.........

Americans cannot answer such questions with deeper implications. They are depolitized through media..... It is obvious that Americans cannot differentiate between a transnational and a multinational company and it is obviously seen that they also confuse a transnational comp. with international or multinational ones which means it is high time they all learned the meaning of prefixes such as "trans"......... Either the "Terrorists" are complete idiots or Politicians are just using this thing as a power grab. Anyone can cross our borders with anything they want including bad weapons , yet its been over 5 years since 9-11 and we have not had any suicide bombings, ect. ect. ect. that is commonplace in the Middle East. This tells me that the threat is way overstated or our wonderful Government somehow magically found the competence to neutrallize the threat of attacks while maintaining a border that allows things like drugs and any kind of illegal alien from anywhere to come and go as they please. George doesnt exactly impress me as being all that smart.

I can name countless reasons how alcohol is worse. there has never been a recorded death due to marijuana use, yet alcohol related deaths are a top cause of death in this country. People get drunk & start fights. People smoke pot & eat a lot. Drinking problems have ruined so many families. I'm sure marijuana use has effected families as well, but not like alcohol does. It causes so many health problems too. Sure, smoking anything is bad for you, but not compared to the problems alcohol causes. I just don't understand how a plant that does not have to go through any processes before using (besides air drying it out a bit) is illegal, yet a leading cause of death that has to be processed to be able to use it is legal. who agrees?

It appears that every time the government comes up with a bold plan to waste even more taxpayers money they seem to 'under estimate' the amount of money and time needed.
NHS computer..6billion pounds and 3 years...now its 20 billion pounds and 6 years..
ID Card data base..god knows how much that is going to cost now ,after they put in a low figure.
Now its the Olympic Games...from 2.4 Billion to over 9 Billion.
Are the government really THAT incompetent or they pulling a fast one to get the plans approved..then , suddenly, ooops, wrong numbers.???

Doesn't it bother you that this company, who's ex-CEO is our vice-president, who has been accused of ripping off the American taxpayer like never before in history, and who was given 100s of billions of dollars in no bid contracts in violation of federal law, now is picking up and moving to Dubai just when Congress threatens to start investigating their role in Iraq?
