no . honest abe honestly couldn't make up his mind on what to do during slavery as far as freeing the blacks. was slavery wrong? even though it was the code of the day no one not even abe dared go against the south full blast because of economic loss of property (slaves). so he condoned it to some degree no diff than reps who wanted the iraqi war ,and won't admit it is and was the wrong decision. i don't think abe was honest at all not even to his own people.

Yes I would, he was great man with great moral values,he would not do anything against the welfare of normal people because he was bought up in a poor family and he knows the misery of the common people. This man was elected three times as the President of America so I would surely say that if he was alive he would be surely elected by the citizens of America.

I don't think he could get many votes today. People have no morals anymore & life was different when he was president. He might try to put our country on the right track again and that would scare many people. They'd feel guilty for being the filthy scum that they are....and we can't have that, can we?
