I'm a bit confused about the whole situation to start with. I mean, what is it exactly that the troops are doing there? what are they fighting against? I'm not talking about now, ...but I mean, what needs to be done to get them back? what is the government of Iraq doing for themselves? HOW DO WE GET THEM BACK?

So you are telling me that if the will of the people was to gather up shipments of weed for everyone to smoke he/she should do it? Don't you think the presidents main priority should be to do what is right for the country? The will of the people may not be what is right for the country. So why do I always hear people gripe about Bush?

I had a discussion with a co worker and he was under the impression that because of womens potential to be emotional and unstable that they wouldnt be a good president in a time of war. I have a hard time believing the statement isnt wrought with prejudice but I couldnt seem to make a valid case. What do you guys think? Can she govern effectively as a women? thanks

Before the praise or insults start flying:

He is not a radical liberal or a Neo Con, although he has conservative values.

He is not a Republican or a Democrat.

He is not a big fan of Bush.

He is not homophobic, he simply disagrees that the rest of society should have to bend over backwards to accomodate their lifestyle.

He considers himself an independent.

And a very loud and opinionated one at that!

i don't understand how killing a fetus is wrong, but killing civilains while at war is ok.

i understand people are mad about 9-11. but does that make mean two wrongs make a right. somebody on the right explain how killing in war is ok and killing in the womb is not.
also explain the difference.

is is that some lives are worth more then others? if that is true, and you claim to be christain ( as most ani abortionsts are) then explain how some lives are worth more then others in the eyes of your god, and how you justify killing some, but against killing the un-born.
and don't tell me fetus don't have a chance, becuase those kids in that appartment complex that was believed to be a terrorist strong hold didn't either.

I have to say, that the Dems should be embarrassed about the way their official spokespersons present "Ideas". First they allow John Kerry to put his ugly mug on worldwide T.V. and allow him tell the President what he he should be doing. That really sends a message to the radicals doesn't it?
Then they let "Rosie" Bash Bush and his HealthCare proposal. She says "where was this plan six years ago? Well, Rosie, the President was busy with other, more important things. The real question is Why haven't the Dems made a proposal? They have had six years to put together a plan. They wasted their time!! They have had six years to tackle many of the problems our country faces, and all they have done is made a Non-Binding resoulution to undermine the president, and they almost have a minimum wage bill. God Damn I feel a lot more secure knowing the Dems will be on the job for a while. God Help us all.

For example, they accuse others of intolerance, but they also have their minds made up about things. They may be suspicious of others' motives, but are up to something themselves. In other words they see the fault all around them but never recognize it in themselves and never ask why they see so much of it.

Apparently MP's are meeting to dicuss whether the United Kingdom should scrap GMT and align our clocks with mainland europe. They say that it will save lives on our roads by not having the darker evenings, which is good, but, on the other hand it will keep our mornings darker for longer.... What are your views on this? Are you an early riser or a pm rush hour driver?
