Well i will proudly call it America to be "Little India" because it is a fact that India can never be America or a part of it but America can be a little india because of indians who are living over there. It is indians who have spread our culture over there and that is why we find every sixth person in America is an Indian and it is not only regarding the culture but also in other context also.
We know that India has a very good and excellent culture and that is the reason why we are finding many americans accepting indian culture as a part of their own culture where it is not vice versa. So, i think it is very correct to say that America is "Little India" .

Bad news, India is the LARGEST Democracy on the Planet!
We are one of the Oldest!
But, they were a Colony of Britain, not ours! Hence, I do not think either of the two phrases really is accurate!

in the sense that both india and china are likely to be global economic, social, political and military superpowers, then it makes sense.
Both are bigger then the US in many ways.
