I figure there will be a certain group of people who won't vote for him because of his name and their ignorance. I prefer to think the majority of people will listen to him and his vision for the country and judge him on those things and not on his name which was something he had no control over. I like him and think he is exactly what this country needs now.

His full name is Barack Hussein Obama and yes, he is going to fight an uphill battle against the small minded voter. I just hope that people vote with their brains this time and not with a knee jerk reaction like last time. As Obama's campaign develops we will see what he is all about and I am sure there will be a lot of surprises in store for all of the candidates.

Yes, unfortunately his name will have something to do with votes; however, Obama was schooled in his very early years in a Muslim school and I would be afraid of how much of this rubbed off on him. He is now a Christian but who can tell what is in his heart? I frankly do not think that Obama is mature enough to become president of the United States of America. He needs about 8-10 more years of seasoning. He is a bright and articulate guy and may someday be a good president. Who can tell?

Barack Hussein Obama is his real name. i just think its ironic that such a good speaker and well educated man has the name of the 2 ppl america is/was after - saddam hussein and osama bin laden. i believe its a sign to vote for him. he would be a great president because hes new to congress and isnt corrupt like the rest of them after being there a few years

Polls show that Democrats want a Muslim President.
Many Democrats despise Christians, and want to give Obama a chance.
Besides the Democrat Party has already invested in Prayer Rugs.

He is a born again christian, but he is a blank canvas that has yet to be painted by the media. Once a photo of him smoking a cigarette behind capitol hill makes it rounds we will see if he still has momentum.

It's not mistaken or subliminal. He will not be a good president to stand up to terrorists.
